Sudoku PC CD game

Advantages: easy to set-up, cheap price, addictive, challenging
Disadvantages: Very hard, could stress you a little

...I bought the telegraph sudoku game from Amazon last week for £6.99. This is an amazingly addictive game a bit like a crossword with numbers, it is quite hard and you can play it in various forms either in books like crossword books or like I prefer on the PC. The PC Cd game is easy and quick to setup just as normal games fom CD, it runs on Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000 so covers most modern PC platforms. You dont need much space to store the game at least 200MB of storage and your PC need not be fast to play the game, also graphics cards are not a must this game is indeed quite basic. The CD has 2,000 graded puzzles 500 easy, 500 moderates, and 500 hard and 500 extremely hard. I must say I have been playing this for months in books and now here on the PC and I cant for the life of me complete...

...I recently managed to fill up my 80GB Hard drive with all sorts of rubbish and needed some CD's to store my information on. Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. TDK CD-R80 is clearly stamped on it. There is plenty of room to write on them and they can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes recording time. EASY PEAZY PC CD

Advantages: self explanetory, ease of use, works on XP
Disadvantages: Could not upgrade from earlier version

...I was very annoyed when I built my new pc and installed xp to find Easy CD creator would no longer work, so annoyed I wrote a damning opinion on ciao, slating Roxio. Eventually, after three months of calming down and desperately trying to get around the fact that Easy cd creator 3, 4 or Direct cd 2.5 will never work on XP and being fed up with microsofts limited and slow cdwriting package(no re-writing) I decided it was time to buy the Platinum 5 software. I searched the net.....how much? still 50 quid? Tried everything even bidding on an illegal copy on ebay to get this packet writing software at a sensible price. So out I went into sunny Bournemouth....PC World, nill stock £50....Staples, nill stock £45, Commet, nil stock, Dixons????? "what is that?" and "does it work on Playstaion2?" I gave up and went home with a webcam instead...

Advantages: Provides basic tools for anti virus, easy to install
Disadvantages: none really, just prefer AVG.

Typically you can expect your order to arrive in around 48 hours. They always have a good budget range for sale, usually these are around the £6-8 mark. You pay p+p on top of these though. As expected you can search by artist, title etc, and look through the whole catalogue. There is very rarely a cd they do not have. Prices do vary though, and they may not be the cheapest around. You do need the CD to play the game, unlike some where once you have uploaded the game you can pass it on to other people, so if you have a few computers you have to learn to share lol! I get very very obsessed with this game once I start playing it, and my husband finds it hard to drag me away from it once I get going!!!! haha, so if you get easily attracted to games, make sure you have time to get addicted!!!! I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes games like Sims, Zoo Tycoon, any other of the Tycoon games, any other "theme" games.
