...This review is about the cooling eye masks available from Boots. Currently the box of 6 cost £4.98 from Boots. The eye masks are to be placed on the eyes covering both eye lids, the bags under the eye (if any), and the bridge of the nose. It can also cover your eye brows. Its can be used stright from the packet or after its been in the fridge for an even cooler sensation. It is for tired eyes and when they feel uncomfortable. Usually caused from lack for sleep, heat, use of computer and to much reading. It is to soothe and help refresh the eyes. So you feel and look better. Leave the eye mask on for about 10 minutes whilst laying down. Remember to take out contact lenses. It is advised not to use on broken or inflamed skin, as I guess it would sting and might cause an affect. Each eye mask comes in a foil sachet to keep the coolness...

...I bought this cooler the other day on Amazon and it arrived today, thankfully 20 minutes after my new cpu did. The first thing that struck me was that the fan is positioned to the side of the heatsink rather than on top of it. Thus blowing hot air through the fins of the heatsink, which has the added advantage of cooling the electical transistors on the motherboard. The heatsink also came with thermal paste already in place which made things easier. After my old generic fan (that came with my medion pc) this seems so quiet, its unbelievable. A few times today I have thought the pc was not coming on because I could nt hear anything. In fact I never realised my hard drive made so much noise. Oh, You're So Cool.....Laptop Cooling Lounge

Advantages: I no longer have hot legs!

Arctic Cooling Silent 4 Ultra - Fancy silence??

...If you are looking for an ultra quiet, stable and very efficient processor cooling system that's the one for you. Installation At first have to admit that I have good computers knowledge but it was first time ever in my life to install cooler. Thus instruction was extremely helpful for me. Everything in there has been clearly marked and shown. When switched on computer, did not want to work. Forgot to connect it  Newer mind. Arctic Cooling Silencer 64 Ultra TC

Advantages: Cheap, Effective, Lightweight.
Disadvantages: No manual speed control, Size could be a problem on some boards.

...it is very quiet, this feature also allows air to be circulated over nearby components. Watching it in action though is scary! While my pc is at idle the built in sensor in this fan often stops the fan completely for a second or two??until enough heat has built up again and then off it goes. Pros. It is very quiet and effective at cooling my CPU. Because it is aluminium it is very light and doesn't strain the motherboard. Its cheap. Cons. I don't like the fact that you cannot control the speed of the fan yourself even though it is controlled by a thermal sensor in the heatsink and it seems to do a good job. Size could be a problem on some motherboards....

Arctic cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Advantages: Cheap, Powerfull and efficient
Disadvantages: A bit fiddly to install

...I upgraded to this Heat sink Fan unit from an Akasa one and the difference in temperatures was great! With the Akasa model i was peaking on full load at 62 degrees Celsius and with the new Arctic Freezer 7 Pro i am now peaking on full load at 46 degrees Celsius. (My tower also has 3 additional cooling fans as well so i had to point it out.) The Fan being mounted on the side of the Heat sink is a great idea as heat naturally rises. Also the fins at the bottom of the heat sink direct airflow towards the motherboard components which helps keep them cool. When this initially arrived in the post i was surprised at the size and weight of it. Its huge! It was a bit fiddly to install but the fan is detachable to help. For the price it is brilliant value for money....

Excellent cooling at a great price

Advantages: Very quiet, great value and a breeze to install
Disadvantages: Possibly on the large side for some motherboards

...After soldiering on for quite some time with the AMD retail fan that came with my Athlon 64 3000+, I decided that I couldnt put up with the noise anymore - especially since I was going to convert my computer into a Media Center. Requiring something that was quiet as well as cheap I did some research as went for this and was not dissapointed. In the box came the heatsink/fan, mounting brackets for the motherboard, some thermal grease and two cases badges - very nice! My first impression was 'how on earth is this going to fit on my motherboard?'. Looking at the capacitors dotted around my CPU I thought there was no chance that this beast wasnt going to foul them, given its montrous size. However this ended up not being an issue as it just about fitted, but be careful if you have a small motherboad where RAM etc is in close proximity...

...cooling on your sore feet. It is great for carrying about in summer when your feet get all hot and sweaty. I would recommend this for yourself or a nice treat for someone else....

Advantages: Quieter, cooler, better looks, more stable PC, better for overclocking
Disadvantages: May be tricky to install for begginers, large so you need biggish case

...proccesor temperature.. this is why the fan draws in the cool air at the front, that should have been drawn in from the outside of your case by a fan. There are many interesting features of this cooler such as the way the fan is attached, using rubber mountings so that vibration is next to impossible. The air is drawn in from the side of fans, which means it also benifits components around the CPU. All in all this HSF is about as close to perfect as you can get, and once installed will make your PC run cooler and look cooler, be more stable, sound much quieter and even run faster if you choose to overclock your system using this.
