...I have recently purchased this pc case which I paid around £60 for from ebuyer.com. I bought it for a first build and wanted something reasonably good . It wasn't my first choice and would probably have prefered something slightly smaller ie a mini tower. This one is about 5cm taller than the antec mini tower. The quality of this tower is excellent. It is very solidly built and I found it fairly easy to maneouvre around inside it. The asus motherboard was a bit of a squeeze and I also had to change the i/o panel as the one fitted wasn't compatible. However other than that it was fairly easy. There are numerous power leads. There are four cables each with two 4 pin power connectors on them, and two of them also have a small 3 pin connector for eg the fan. Advantages: Makes the computer look prettier
Disadvantages: only fits Shuttle computers

...The PF12B is a blue coloured case cover for the Shuttle mini computer. It replaces the aluminum case cover for a painted one to make the computer look individualistic and interesting. It is used to customise the look of the computer. It is a product that will only be of interest for people who already own a Shuttle computer so it will not fit any computers that Shuttle have not made. Advantages: Cheap, good spec, pleasing to the eye

..., which had clearly lost any of its original colour after years of use. My printer is black and silver, and my choice of PC couldn't have been better. The Packard Bell iMedia is black and silver. The tower is small than most PC towers, but I wouldn't class it is a mini tower. It stands upright and is not intended to be lay on its side. The PC edges are rounded which achieves in giving it a sleek pleasing look. Performance I was immediately impressed with the PC. Admittedly, whilst ot had just 256mb of RAM, it's performance wasn't ideal. However, I added another 256mb myself and the improvements were immediately clear. I was able to have multiple programs open without causing any delay to the PC. As opposed to my old PC which had just 8GB Hard Drive, I couldn't fault the PC. Download speeds were dramatically... ...software. On these PCs the software is Roxio which has proved easy and useful in use. My suggestion is to buy these up quick. They have been superceded now by the DC8700 (new model for this year i guess!) and also the reason that they are being sold for the price they are. We were buying the tower version of this PC only 2 months ago for nearly double this price but we just bought 8 of these smaller PCs for only £288 + VAT from Insight. Of course once their stock is gone, its gone! To be honest, I think these PCs are an absolute bargain for what you get with them and for the price you pay. ...I have just invested in a new pc for myself at home. It is 20 times more pwerfull then the one i first bought in 1998, and will probably be only half as good as the next generation or step up the technolgy ladder in 6 months time. The pc I bought has an 17" screen didnt want bigger as it wouldnt fit on my desk. The presario is a mini tower, which I think is quite small from what I am used to. It has an AMD K6-2 @ 400mhz processor which I am told is better then an intel pentium 4. The hard drive is 80giga bytes ( I wish now i'd got bigger). This i believe may be just a bit to small for making my pc last a while i may need to upgrade in the near future. Disadvantages: There are faster systems out there, comes stand alone with no hardware

...this will also read normal discs as well, not just DVD's but CD-R's. The computer has a floppy drive which may not mean much anymore, due to most being cut out of modern systems. However for me it is perfect for transferring college work on to the college network. It comes with Microsoft XP professional, the current and most efficient operating system around in my opinion. The 3 years warranty is also a sure bet, even if the system turs faulty you get free servicing for 3 years. The system at 16.7 cm x 45.2 cm x 44.8 cm is also certainly a mini-tower, it can fit into the most awkward spaces. Trust me my house is compact at the best of times, never mind a brand new computer.
