...The Logitech Z 10 are multimedia PC speakers with a built in active amplifier. I got these from a closing down sale at a PC shop last year and was listed as half price so I couldn't let the bargain go. I've now got them connected to my other networked PC and work perfectly. These aren't you normal type of PC speakers these have built in touch sensitive multimedia controls and a backlit LCD display. So just say you play a music track from your PC, the track information will be displayed on the screen of the speaker. The screen also displays a clock and also volume. The design of these speakers is quite executive, black in colour gives it a good look. As these are different from any PC speakers you have probably come across before, anyone who sees them will want to know more. As the LCD display is an excellent eye catcher, maybe one... ...Creative SBS 260 PC Multimedia Speakers I got these speakers of Ebay when i really needed speakers for my pc as my old ones had sound problems.I would suggest getting these speakers from Ebay as they have the best prices for them as any where else i have seen now moving on to the speakers them selves. For speakers coming at roughly 10 pound around every shop you cant ask for anymore really,it lets you allow connect headphones as all speakers do but lets move on to the the advantages and disadvantages. ...My laptops own speakers are really rubbish, and I needed a set of speakers for listening to music and dvd's on. I went for the Creative Inspire 280 PC multimedia speakers becuase they compared well (price wise) with other similar items and a number of people had recommended creative speakers to me as being good value for money. The speakers were packages pretty simply, and are extremely easy to use/set up, as they are plug and play. The wires are all good lengths, so you can use them even if the plug point is quite far away from your computer, and they are light enough to take with you if you're travelling. The volume control (situated on the side of one of the speakers) isn't too sensitive, so it's easy to adjust, and the same is true of the tone control. ...I bought a set of Busby speakers from Jungle.com for £30 including delivery. I must say I was weary because I wanted a loud set of speakers to mix my garage tunes out loud on and I thought thirty quid was a bit cheap. However, after linking them up and blasting out the sound at full volume I wasnt disappointed at all. FOr the mone they are excellent value. THe satellite speakers are very small but they can really make a sound you will be suprised. The Sub Woofer is 25cm and is the reason the sound is so good. The bass is clear and the sound doesnt distort one bit. If you want a loud set of speakers for your PC and you have thirty quid lying round I would reccomend these Busby speakers anyday.... Advantages: Excellent sound and brilliant bass
Disadvantages: Heavy subwoofer with many cables.

...These speakers are excellent in every respect. They look stylish and sleek despite the size of the subwoofer, and deliver excellent sound at all volumes. There is a bass control in addition to the volume control, which is very useful as the bass potential of these speakers is very high, meaning ocassionally the more bass- heavy songs come across too powerful. However this is a problem easily fixed by turning the bass down a little. The subwoofer is very heavy, so will not be easily portable. Also the one disadvantage in my view is the presence of several unsightly large wires. There is one power cable, two cables leading from the subwoofer to each speaker, and a cable leading to the control box which in turn leads to the computer or audio device. All in all, this is an excellent speaker system but not good for portability.... Read review

...The Logitech Z 640 is a pc multimedia home theatre speaker system that will satisfy most users by having a high sound quality, low price and a nice design, however i do not recommend it to sound fanatics. All volume controls are on the center speaker -that means that you have to keep the center speaker in your range(hand-range). The center speaker has the power switch, a volume control, a front-rear fader, a matrix switch(for when it's used 4.1), another volume control for the center speaker only. What it lack's is the high and mid range sounds volume control, the subwoofer volume control is on the subwoofer (on the rear part ) so it 's kinda' out of reach... that can be annoying. For someone who just installs the speakers, and isn't "screwing around with the controls testing sound, music etc" it's ok, but otherwise you will just get... Read review

...These speakers have a head phone port and a microphone port. They only have 2 adjusters Volume and Tone. They are about 10 cm x 10 cm x 20 cm. There is a meter long wire which connects the two speakers. It plugs into the wall and into the back of the computer with colour coded plugs. I have found these speakers great for the average person who plays music at an average level but once turned up the sound quality becomes quite poor. They are not very durable and tend to blow or crackle after a few knocks. The good part of this product is that it is a reasonable price at £21.46 from Amazon. This is good because the price compares to the quality. At this price the people that would be buying this product would be families for personal computers which would not be used at maximum volume. As a laptop user, i often have no source of power. so i began my search for speakers to suit my needs. and came across these. Reasonably priced and served every purpose i needed them to. I paid approximately £15 from WHSmiths, and soon realised that they were better than i imagined. I didn't even need to install them. My laptop instantly recognised them and they worked. They even came with stands. With marvellous sound quality the Trust Soundforce 2012 USB PC multimedia speakers are Simple in design and easy to install. simply snap the stands ibnto place, plug them in all you're off...
