Eve Online; Thumbs up

Advantages: Lot`s of detail and content in the game
Disadvantages: will take at least a month to even scratch the surface of game play

...I?ve been playing eve for 4 years now, which should give you an idea to how long and how addictive the game can be. I?ll try and summarise what I think are the important things to know; Eve is a MMO (massive multiplayer online) game, you chose and play a character that will inhabit a single universe with anywhere between 10 thousand and 50 thousand other players depending on the time of day. These players will be spread over some 5 thousand solar systems, all linked together though a complex network of stargates. Like real life these people will be diverse in their interests and goals. One of the mixed blessings of eve is that CCP (the game developers) allows for a very flexible environment for people to play; Player cons, griefing and espionage take place on a daily biases, piracy in a real sense can be a legitimate career...

Silk Road Online: It's Free!

Advantages: Free, Good Gameplay, Long Lasting
Disadvantages: Graphics aren't 100%, Lot's of bad English.

...One day I was holding the same conversation with my partner that I always have. The conversation is, Why can't they make a new ultima online? With today's graphics etc. Whenever we have this conversation, I get in the mood to play a new MMO, but don't really want to pay for it. WarHammer online

Advantages: Great new online game similar to wow
Disadvantages: brand new so a few small bugs

...Brand new from warhammer comes there first roleplaying game online,i brought it the day after release for £30.00 from my local game . You get a 2 disc game pack with a small instruction book and a special key to log you in.Installation was not too bad unfortunatley i had to do it 3 times as i forgot i didnthave the latest direct x package but i did get there and full installation took me about 5 hours on my slow laptop 1 hour for the discs and 4 four the patches. Its kind of like graphics of lotr online but better and the gameplay is similar to wow im a big wow fan and im really enjoying this game as well as pve pvp and organised city raids which where great fun but unorganised in wow it offers also a nice feature of public quest which you can just turn up and participate in for rewards which i have so far really enjoyed,its brand new...

Lord of the Rings Online: Excellent Game for Storylines

Advantages: Fun, Good Storyline, Friendly Community, Good quest based play
Disadvantages: Not for hardcore PVP players

...As you can imagine with a game based on such a good book, the Lord of the Rings Online is a fantastically immersive game. The storylines are massivley in-depth throughout your quests, and the book quests, which follow the plot of the original book, are a nice touch. There is an incredibly large player base on this game, making it relatively easy to find groups for tougher quests. The three man group quests add a nice touch. This game beats most, if not all, MMO's for solo and quest-based plays. It does have a PVP element which is very different to most games. Playing as the forces of Sauron, you play against high level human players. A force of the free-peoples attempting to drive back player controlled Wargs and Uruk-Hai - Very entertaining. ...The littlewoods site can be accessed using the address www.littlewoods-online.co.uk. SImple! When the page comes up, ususally a pop up advertisement appears too. Dont immediately close it, as they sometimes have a super special offer, that you dont see anyhwere else.! At the moment it is advertising the sale on branded products!. To use te site you have to be A) a littlewoods customer and B) registered to use the online facility. If you are not just fill in the relevant forms and hey presto! The first page of the website is full of special offers, Top 10 buys of the week etc. To read more about the offers, you just have to simply click in the relevant spot! Easy peasy! The actual design of the site is ok but the colours are so bright and varied that it tends to clash a bit. But never mind, no-ones perfect!! You log in...
