...ICQ 2000b is wicked. In case you don't know, ICQ is an instant messenger serivce like MSN Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger. The only difference is that it is far better! Why? For a start it has all the usuals - messages, chat, email etc, as well as file transfer, greetings cards etc, and now it has free phone (PC 2 PC or PC 2 Phone), free sms messages (global), options to recieve sms messages, your own phone/sms number, new style, icq channels, a new look and much more. I recommend it to everyone - even if you have icq 2000a. I give it 10/10. I have added all of my friends mobiles and it is saving me a fortune on SMS messages. You can now add non icq users so it is just like an address book but better.... Read review

Advantages: Portable, nice Design, Reasonable Price
Disadvantages: Transmission Distance

...Since the beginning of wireless data transfer, Bluetooth has now established itself to be a must need item for almost every one. You have it now in laptops, pda's, phones and even in-built desktop motherboards. I bought this MSI Bluetooth device of ebuyer (www.ebuyer.com) for about £20 which is quite cheap considering the advantages of the product. I planned to use it to enable wireless internet access with my Sony Clie. It plugs in directly to your USB port and my computer detected it straight away. The only problem was that the package did not come with any software but I easily got it off the MSI website. Once the software was installed, I was very disappointed to find out that I could not use the Clie to surf the net while I was in the toilet. Advantages: To many to mention
Disadvantages: Poor customer support

...as it learns from its mistakes and becomes more confidant. There is, like anything in life, room for improvement, alas their customer support is still severely lacking, and it is still almost impossible to speak to someone on the telephone help line, but all things considered, for me personally it was a good investment. I have saved hundreds of pounds on my telephone bill; I can surf if and when I want to, I can call the USA or Brazil absolutely FREE, with one of the myriad of PC 2 Phone or Pc 2 PC services online. To sum up I would recommend Redhotant without hesitation, anyone on a budget will find this the best thing they ever did. Advantages: Free calls from PC to PC and Clear Cut Sound 10X better than Standard Phone
Disadvantages: Unable to keep a live track of call costs - Tariffs to mobiles much more and not clearly priced!

...I first come across this bad boy invention when I read the newspaper giving details of all PC phone networks that were currently on the market for us general public to use and abuse. This I had to investigate! I truly could not believe that I could call people anywhere in the world on a landline for approx 1.1p per minute! It just could NOT be true!? I have now reccomended this program to all family and friends who have a PC because then we can talk for free! The basic facts are you can literally call anywhere in the world (almost) for such a stupid price and if its PC 2 PC its absolutely FREE!
