Advantages: Watch TV on your PC! Record TV programmes with your PC! Record your home made videos onto your PC! So ruddy cheap!
Disadvantages: Needs PC to work, sound is mono, has to be PCI version to be cheap.

.... Now how does a child like him manage to get a TV Card with his sort of pocket money and get good quality for his money? Simple! He went and bought himself a Hauppauge WinTV Express card. This card is an analogue type card (meaning that it isn't digital) that arrives in a rather large box unbefitting the contents that are contained within. You get merely the TV Card, audio cable to link the card to your sound card, manual and software CD. You can hear it rattling around inside the box as you shake it, the box blatantly wasting precious card with all that space. But although I mourn the trees' wasted timbre (ish), the card itself is a very high quality piece of equipment. Unpacking the card was a cinch seeing as there wasn't much packaged in the first place. Installing it was easy as pie as well, requiring you to dismantle your PC...

Poorly Expressed

Advantages: It tries to bring a little known hero to light.
Disadvantages: It's hackneyed in all respects.

The majority of the arrangements centre around warm, hopeful string refrains. There are also insistent piano arrangements that set the scene, deep bowed cellos and electric guitar with rising brass and drums for Ernie?s first high school game and the usual triumphal brass for victories. However, there seem to be passages of music for virtually every scene, so you filter it out after a while. It also feels as though the composer is trying to blackmail you into feeling whatever emotion he?s pushing. The other soundtrack choices include popular music of the day from black artists, including ?Mojo Working?, and ?What I?d Say?. The Polar Express

Advantages: great christmas film
Disadvantages: not so good after christmas

...The Polar Express DVD I was bought this film for Christmas from my mum as I was complaining that before Christmas I had nothing to watch that would get me into the Christmas spirit. Apart from sitting watching Alistair Sims version of scrooge with my dad which in my view is not giving as much Christmas spirit as it should. Anyhow it being February now nearly March I thought it time I watched it. Seeing as I'm on my sick bed from work and too skint to afford any more blockbuster movies this is one in my collection that i had yet to watch so shoved it on to see what it was all about. The first thing I noticed when beginning to watch this film is that Tom Hanks appears to do most of the adult voices and appears as many a different character. Advantages: Can be an inexpensive way to see the country, frequent service, free wifi on board
Disadvantages: Overcrowding, old trains, journey times slower than 25 years ago

Express around the Nation?

Advantages: cheaper than flying/trains at short notice
Disadvantages: much slower than most other transport options

The coach stop at Hythe isnt easy to find from the information on the website, but the stop itself is on the one way sytem and goes have the National Express logo on the stop sign. Victoria in London looks run down and is very busy. For those that dont know you arrive at one side of the road and depart from the other- confusing if you didnt know as I didnt took a little while to work it out. Bolton the National Express stop on the main road next to the Great Moor St bus station a short walk from the train station so it is easy to get around from there. The trip from London to Bolton was on the service that called at Manchester Airport but as that is popular it was split in to two coach loads, one terminating at the airport and one doing all the other stops after the airport.
