...Yet another great product from a well known company. Creative labs have been around now for years and always seem to top the market with well priced software and hardware that you can trust. Not only do they supply everything in the software bundles but they offer full support via their web site with tons of downloads and upgrades and with one on one tech help if required. When I bought my sound blaster PCI64 it was quite a recent product and much sought after by those who love quality music and good sound reproduction. Easy to install USB 2.0 PCI card

...I have bought this PCI card a week ago. Reason: I have got a MSI K7T266Pro2 motherboard that only offer USB1.1 ports (1.5Mbytes/s maximum transfer rate). Since I have got devices that uses USB2.0 and without breaking my piggy bank to upgrade my computer, the most economical way is to install a PCI card that offers USB2.0 connections (up to 480Mbits/s or 60Mbytes/s, 40X faster than USB1.1) for 1 internal port and 4 external ports. Before you buy a USB2.0 PCI card, make sure that your motherboard got version 2.2 PCI slots which are USB2.0 compatible. If your motherboard hasn't got version 2.2 PCI slots or higher, don't bother. You need a motherboard upgrade. Also, your operating system needs to be windows 2000 service pack 4 or windows XP which provides appropriate drivers to support USB2.0. PCI128 What A Bargain

...I've only had this PCI128 Creative Sound Card for a few days, and wow!!! It was so easy to install, and the software that came with it is excellent. The software can play anything that can be played. For example, if you have a DVD Rom, it can play movies, regular audio CD's, MP3's and loads more. For something that is so cheap, you wouldn't expect a lot from the soundcard, but in my opinion, it should be priced a lot higher than it is. I purchased this soundcard, as I needed a full-duplex card, as the one built-in to my motherboard wasn't really any good for video conferencing. Anyone who needs a soundcard, but is on a low budget should purchase one of these cards. I'd recommend the Creative Soundblaster PCI128 to anyone who need excellent quality sound, but doesn't want to spend a fortune....

After a bit of Googling and a quick read of the e4allupgraders forum I came to the conclusion that PNY and NVIDIA were names to look out for. I was surprised by the lack of choice in PCI graphics cards on Dabs and Ebuyer so bought my card from an eBay shop for just over £50 delivered which was at the time the cheapest I could find. In the package was the card itself, a driver CD, a case sticker, an S-Video cable, a DVI-VGA adapter should you need one, and a very basic and universal install guide. The only strange thing about the packaging was a sticker on the outside of the box stating the minimum required specs were a 400W PSU and a P4 Prescott CPU which didn't match...
