Excellent Phone / PDA combo

Advantages: PDA Functionality, Small form factor, Looks stylish, Excellent features
Disadvantages: Reflective screen, motion blur on cammera, 'easy press' buttons.

...This was my replacement for my Nokia 6210 and Dell Axim PDA, The model I have is supplied by Orange and branded the M600, although it is the same phone. Having had a PDA/Phone combo before I was a little sceptical about its suitability, with it being a great PDA but useless as a phone with it being too large to use effectivly. The did not disappoint, with a comfortable size, easy to hold in your palm and easy to hold against your ear without being oversized. Compared to some phones on the market it is by no means the smallest, but it does have that heavy well built feel and fits into your jeans pocket quite nicely. When using the supplied case the phone will no longer fit into your pocket de to the belt loop, and would you really want to hang this kit off your belt? The buttons are also easy to press when accessing from your pocket...

HP iPAQ 114 - A fine 'basic' PDA

Advantages: Value for money, fast processor, stylus
Disadvantages: Weight (too light!), lots of pressure needed to use touch screen

...I have just joined Ciao community to put the record straight on this PDA. A previous Ciao reviewer has given a negative review. I have only owned the PDA (HP iPaq 214 Enterprise Handheld) for two days. I believe I was one of the first in the UK to receive this machine as it became available from 25th January 2008. I was almost put off buying the iPaq by the other review here, but decided to give it a try. I am glad, as the PDA does everything a PDA should and at a very good speed and price. The other review here is definitely not for the iPaq 214. How did he get it some months before anyone else? The description bears no resemblance to my iPaq 214. The reviewer says the camera is appalling and defunct - it does not have a camera at all, so that clears that up. It does have 128 MB SDRAM and 256MB flash ROM, mine also came with 1GB SD card...

iPod Touch - a PDA for the masses?

Advantages: Intuitive interface, very easy to use, gorgeous device, very slender profile
