PDC Darts Wii, Let Down> ?

...This game could promise so much but delivered very little. The idea of this game where you could become a darting champion is a good one but the game lacks too much. The game focuses on the PDC the "glitz and glamour" side of darts, it has the top 16 players in the PDC with numerous formats you can play. The game modes are a plus point of this title with several to choose from witch includes a career mode, exhibition mode and party games. The gameplay lets this game down so badly, throwing the dart is surely the central point of the game and it seems they've just forgotten about it. There are two ways to use the controllers to throw, either being easy. One with the wii remote, aiming with it and throwing it like a dart (keep hold of the remote though) and equally as hard you can use the remote and nun chuck aiming with the remote...

PDC World Championship Darts on PS2

Advantages: Licnenced Game of the PDC and can be 10 licenced darts players
Disadvantages: Poor Graphics , Repetitive Commentry , lack of Realism , lack of `customisation

...PDC World Championship darts is a half reasonable attempt for a first shot at a licenced game on the PS2. However there are lots of things that put this game down that could well be improved. First off the carear mode it just lets you be one standard darts player. There is a vey limited customation for your player eg a few shirts and theme song you can choose from but nothing to get you excited. The graphic quality for the PS2 isnt up to scratch. The graphics resemble more the ps1 than anything else. The players movements are not smooth and fluent like they should be and they all have the same standard action. Commentry is very repetitive how many times sid says you couldnt swing a badger in here is unbelivable. The players themselves dont seem to show any emotion when throwing darts. Advantages: Best around, easy to use, improvement on the previous
Disadvantages: Tiring if your not a darts fan. Repetative commentary

The back of the box states "Get in to the crazy and wonderful world of touch darts" and whilst very stereotypical and not very "PC" I instantly thought of the game played by podgy, beer swilling, middle aged working class men in their local (and hazy prior to the smoking ban) social club. Obviously, this is incorrect and darts is a sport of people of all ages - just look at the young Dutch players appearing on the world stage at the Lakeside last year (the names of who escapes me).   Polaroid PDC 3035.......My First Digi Experience!

Advantages: A good first camera, good sound quality, average photo quality.
Disadvantages: Flash isn't great, not great for darker photos, colours not true.

I received this camera as a present from my then partner for my Christmas all the way back in 2003. I know that he paid around £100 for it, and this was a reasonable price back then. He bought mine from the now extinct Index catalogue store, but on doing some research I've found it difficult to see any brand new cameras for sale in UK, There are however still a few for sale on Amazon and Ebay, but bear in mind these will be second hand usually. The cheapest I've seen is on Amazon second hand for £25.Which is not bad if it is in good condition...

PDC 3035 is a great buy

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight, nice appearance, value for money

...I have owned a Polaroid PDC 3035 digital camera for about 4 months now and am totally impressed. Firstly, I think that it the best priced camera for it's resolution (at 3.2 million pixels). Versitility of the product is excellent and using peripherals like smart media cards, usb connections etc. are relatively easy. The built-in software allows you to customise your pictures before you take them and the support software (for PC) allows you to do almost anything with your photos once you've uploaded them to the PC. After seeing other makes on the market, I am convinced that the PDC 3035 offers the best value for money for it's specifications - true, honest value at a good price. After applying for Embassy World Snooker tickets on several occasions, I envisaged this would be: a) expensive, and b) a 1 in a 100 chance of success. How wrong could I be?
