...Pedigree dog food is one of the most common dog foods on the pet food market, it comes in various varietys, including dry food bags, tinned meat, pouches and various dog treats. They have a range of foods including, puppy, junior, adult, senior and light diets to suit dog of various ages. The only one out of these i would possibly concider giving my dogs would be the treats. There are far better dog foods available to feed dogs containing more natural ingredience, no/less presevatives and colourants. A common problem caused by pedigree being to high in these contents is your dog becoming hyperactive, also it can cause itchy skin, and bad effects out the other end. More natural foods are usually wheat gluten free which a lot of dogs digestive systems don't agree with so food without this are a far healthier choice. The tinned...

Pedigree Chum dog food

...My dog is 16 and as he is old now has got very picky in what he eats. I tried various foods for him, most of which he turned his nose up at. My Vet told me that a lot of people used Pedigree Chum, along with the Pedigree mixer, but for a while I ignored him, as I felt it was too expensive. However, I did buy it and was amazed at the change in my dog! he actually waits by his bowl every day, wags his tail, and eats the lot straight away. His health seemed to improve, and his vitality improved as well. I find that I don't have to give him as much as the cheaper brands, so in the end it doesn't work out much dearer. He looks so much healthier, his coat is shiny, and i put it all down to Pedigree Chum....

Pets at home rabbit food

Advantages: healthy for your rabbit
Disadvantages: none that i can think of

...Was recommended this food as it's what the rabbit we have from petsathome had been fed on so we kept Neil (our rabbit) on it. He does eat this food but he does selectively pick at it leaving the dark pellet parts, our old rabbit was fed a none selective food that was all the same pellets. I don't really want to change it over to this as he does like it. There are lots of healthy ingredience in the food and it only costs £3.99 for quite a big bag that lasts about 3-4weeks. We feed it to him twice a day, one meal of pets at home rabbit food the other he has fresh fruit and vegetables. He looks really good on this food is active, has a healthy, smooth glowing coat and has never been ill even with dhiarea(sp)I would definately recommend this food to other rabbit owners. Paws Up For Pedigree!

She had been weaned onto Pedigree Chum Puppy food, so we continued to buy this for her, as it was what she was used to. We didn't want to upset her delicate puppy tummy by changing it to something else. We also have an old Jack Russell X Chihuahua called Katy. We buy her various types of food, as she gets bored after a while. She's on Winalot at the moment. She does like Pedigree Chum, but it's a bit more expensive so we don't buy it for her very often. We shop at Asda and they sell a pack of six 400g tins of Pedigree Chum Puppy food for £3.40. They sell a similar thing by Butchers for £2.58 but the tins are only 300g ones. Winalot sell 400g tins in the puppy range, but only in packs of three tins for £1.58, so in comparison...

...My dogs are both big fans of Pedigree dog treats. But their treats never seem to last more than 10 minutes! I noticed Jumbones in the pet shop and they seemed larger than most of the other treats in the shop, so I thought they may last a bit longer. They come in a red and yellow packet with a picture of the product, the pedigree logo and a dog on the front. They are sold in packets of 1 (large), 2 (medium) or 4 (small). A packet of two medium jumbones cost me £1.39. More recently I have noticed they are available in boxes of 8 for £5.49, great for owners whose dogs really like the treat! The treats have a softer dark brown centre covered in a tougher looking chewy off-white coating. They are most commonly found in the original beef flavour but I have also noticed a new chicken and rice flavour, although my dogs haven't tried...

...I first saw this product in my local supermarket and I believe it was on offer, half price I think. The main appeal was the price but there was also a message on the packaging "Lasts up to an hour". I have two Springer spaniels and finding treats for them that last more than ten minutes is a great bonus. I bought two and could not wait to give them to my dogs. I have always approved of the products of Pedigree and my dogs approve of most of the Pedigree products. I bought the large dog size Super Chew as this was all the supermarket had. The Packaging The packaging was in the traditional colours of Pedigree, red and yellow, there is also a small clear section of plastic to view the product. It also has a clock and the message "Lasts up to an hour" and that it was a good for cleaning the plaque from their teeth...

Stinky Pedigree Chum

...Ever since our Border collie dog Chloe came to live with us at 9 weeks old we have given her Pedigree Chum. It started off as Pedigree Chum Puppy food and we moved on eventually to the adult version, which is what I will review now. I always buy the variety in gravy for Chloe. This has got nothing to do with what she likes unfortunately. It has everything to do with the fact that I find it a lot easier to get out of the tin, and break up in her bowl. I have to do this fairly quickly as with a cat and a dog, meal time are a little tense between the two, until they both have a bowl in front of them. Even then, one is outside and one is inside! Anyway in the words of Mike Reid - I digress!! I buy these tins of dog food in packs of 6, although Sainsbury's have just started to sell the gravy variety in packs of 12. There is not...

These puzzles are suitable for children aged 18 months and over. I use them with older special needs pupils. Although the pictures of the pets are cute and big eyed they are not over babyish.
