Clear skin with Boots tea & Witch Hazel peel off face mask!!!!!

Advantages: cheap! clears spots!
Disadvantages: can't use in the bath as timesaver.

...I first bought this product about 4 years ago after suffering with skin prone to acne since my teens. I initially bought it after a massive outbreak of spots when I had given up on all my other products which didn't seem to be doing much for my skin apart from making it worse. I already used tea tree cleansing wipes, so I new about the antibacterial and healing properties of tea tree for skin. I bought this at boots for £2.99 which seemed fairly reasonable as it would last a few months and £2.99 isn't much money to lose if it turned out not to be very good! I got home and removed my make-up, cleaned my face and dried it thoroughly before applying a thin coat of the gel to my face. It was very cold and quite refreshing! I tend to have to be cautious with products like this, as I can get dry skin on my face at times and was wary about what this product could do to me. However, since I have tried the 'Superdrug Tea Tree Face Wash' and was able to survive the entire bottle, I had a lot of faith in this mask product. It was a bit of an adventure, as I have never used peel-off mask before. I always have to wash my clay mask off my face and it can get really messy, so I was intrigued by this product. ...Continuing my quest to rid my face of troublesome blackheads, I have recently been using Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel peel off face mask. The main reason that I bought it, to be honest, was that I am currently on a tight budget, and at £2.99 for 50ml, it seemed good value. I spotted it on the shelf in a no-nonsense but attractive clear plastic tube with a light green and blue motif, with "tea tree" and "witch hazel" written clearly down one side. I was familiar with both of these ingredients. Tea tree oil is well known for its anti-microbial properties, having been used for centuries in traditional medicines. WAX ON, WAX OFF

...it should be about 1-2 mm, now me I have no idea how thick that is but I am sure that in some parts it was thicker than that. I left it on for about 30 seconds. It was no longer sticky and it felt hard. Ok time to peel it off, this was not the part I was looking forward to, but it was on my leg now and it is not stuff that you can just wash off. Starting at the bottom I started to peel. You should just do it very fast and it is all over and done with, but I am a bit of a chicken so I peeled slowly. Where the wax was a bit thin it was rather painful to peel off, but on the parts where I had been a bit to generous with the wax it was not really that bad.
