Pegasus-A great email client

Advantages: compact, fast, many features
Disadvantages: no newsgroups

...I came across Pegasus Mail on my university network. I have since come to use it as my preferred email client and have downloaded it for the computer at home. We now have both Pegasus and Outlook Express on the computer but OE is now very rarely started. Pegasus offers all the features of outlook that I could care to use and presents them in a much more simple and straight forward interface than OE. The programme has been developed by independent programmers and is completely free to download, and there is no adware or any obligation to pay registration fees of any kind. If you do register it costs $15 which gives you access to full user support, you can also purchase manuals. ...*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Why I bought this? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* This is one of the two things my daughter asked Santa for this past Christmas and was the only thing I found almost impossible to get for her! She had got the Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus DVD for her birthday on the 9th November and ever since she asked for the Shiver Teddy Bear and a Pegasus Pony! She saw this advertised on TV a million and one times and every single time she said "I want that" So being the brilliant mum I am, I set out at the end of November to start my Christmas shopping?.First stop Woolworth's?. Picked up a couple of things and saw the Princess Annika Barbie doll (which I had already bought on special offer along with the DVD) which reminded me that I had to get the pony too. Searching the many aisles though I could not see this anywhere in the store...

What a great hotel!

Advantages: Staff, View, Service, Internet Access
Disadvantages: Having to leave

...My sister and I stayed at the Pegasus Suites for 6 nights in early October. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the service is first class. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was large with comfortable sitting area, nice decoration with all modern equipment and luxury amenities. It has a Jacuzzi bathtub and bathroom with marbles. We had a wonderful early dinner at our room from the hotel snack bar on our first night at the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and close to many restaurants and shops. We felt that this was the most relaxing and friendly hotel we have ever stayed. We will definitely stay at the Pegasus Suites the next time we will travel to Santorini....

My job as a network engineer puts me in a position to use configure and use email on a daily basis, so I have used many different software packages for handling email. Pegasus always comes out top. I have known people to pay hundreds and even thousands of pounds on email systems that are unable to offer half of the features of Pegasus. Pegasus incedently is completely free of charge. Pegasus can be used as a standalone mail client or in conjunction with Pegasus Mercury Mail to give a fully featured networked solution for NT and Netware. What a place!!!

Advantages: Free Internet Access, Excellent Service, Amazing View

...This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review of a hotel but following our beautiful and relaxing stay at Pegasus Suites, I felt the need to recommend this marvellous hotel to others. My husband and I spent a long weekend in the hotel and found it idyllic. For a design hotel, the staff and atmosphere are remarkably unpretentious and accommodating. The manager herself took great lengths to direct us to the best sites and beaches of the local area of Santorini (which is lovely in itself), even going as far as to drive us to the nearest boat hire company and organising the best price for us! She also booked a taxi for us. The hotel staff could not be more helpful - arranging taxis / transfers and they really do go far and beyond their call of duty which is often hard to find these days. Breakfast was excellent...

...If you really are hard strapped for cash then I suppose you are gonna have to use this - but if you can at all avoid it do not use Pegasus Mail - The software is like it was made on a 286 PC in 1990 - To think what they could have done to it would take ages - I used Pegasus for about 6 months before switching to Outlook Express by Microsoft which I have to recommend it is a very user friendly program and integrates itself into the operating system- Pegasus is very basic and has very limited options - Another good point about Outlook Express is you can check Hotmail from it without having to go to the Hotmail website - this is a very good idea as it saves a lot of time...
