Review of Ghd Limited Edition Styler - Hair Straightener

Limited possibilities!

Advantages: Offers a non DSLR option to people ready to move beyond point and shoot.
Disadvantages: Too many limits to make it a real option to serious photographers.

...suffers badly at either 22mm wide or at full zoom whereas a dedicated lens for a DSLR would be able to shoot at its limits no problem, so whilst you are getting the option to shoot at this range you are not going to produce clean crisp images. The other big thing of note with this camera is its ability to shoot HD video, this means nothing to me nor to any other pro photographers as we do not buy big fancy DSLR`s to shoot video we buy them to take photographs and if we want to video we buy cam corders. The option of shooting HD video has nothing to do with photography but may be a welcome addition to a person buying this as purely a family camera, the trouble is that although it does shoot HD footage it is still like all other cameras that take video, in that if the light is short of perfect then the outcome of the video is poor. The S...

Vertical Limit

Advantages: Nice special effects!
Disadvantages: Dull script - boring!

...I saw Vertical Limit because of the trailers and adverts. It really did look like an excellent film, I went into my local Odeon (a few months ago) with high hopes and I left disappointed. Sure the fancy special effects dazzled me but the script didn’t. The first hour of the film are very impressive, however it goes down hill from there. The film begins in the same location that Mission Impossible 2 was shot. For those that don’t know the film is about a group of climbers who daringly climb K2. A group leave to climb the mountain and as you will have guessed a storm occurs, the group of 3 are divided on whether to turn back or carry on. They decide to carry on. They fall under an ice sheet and the ending well I don’t want to give it away I’ll just say that the film ends in true American movie style...

Pushed to the Limit

Advantages: Interesting reading
Disadvantages: None

...Pushed to the Limit is the new auto-biography by Jordan / Katie Price. Having read her previous ones I really was hoping that this book was better than the last and I am pleased to say that it was. The cover of the book has a white background and a picture of Katie holding her head and the title in white lettering at the bottom and her real name in pink lettering at the side. The back cover of the book has a black background a has a full picture showing Katie glammed up as Jordan. THE BOOK The book consists of 18 chapters with the first starting on Christmas Eve with this being Juniors first Christmas. Katie goes on to talk about how bad and depressed she felt after having given birth to Junior and how she was diagnosed with postnatal depression. As the book moves on she talks very openly about how her depression was ruining her...

MANN Countrywide (part of Countrywide Assured)

Advantages: Erm... they didn't smell too bad
Disadvantages: Takes advantage of the first time buyer! never calls - see below for rest of story...

...emotions to get a quick sale. Lee also managed to sell us "Countrywide Assured" buildings and contents insurance, even though the buildings insurance is included in the maintanence charges for the flat - we've only just found out, 2 years later - all that money wasted :`( And they never phone when they say they will - ever! I'll never again use them to buy or sell a property, and advise all first time buyers to take someone who has been through this process before when viewing properties/speaking to estate agents etc... and if they are told something which seems too good to be true, like wooden flooring, ask for it in writing!!! Then at least you have proof to complain if you need to....

Pegasus-A great email client

Advantages: compact, fast, many features
Disadvantages: no newsgroups

...I came across Pegasus Mail on my university network. I have since come to use it as my preferred email client and have downloaded it for the computer at home. We now have both Pegasus and Outlook Express on the computer but OE is now very rarely started. Pegasus offers all the features of outlook that I could care to use and presents them in a much more simple and straight forward interface than OE. The programme has been developed by independent programmers and is completely free to download, and there is no adware or any obligation to pay registration fees of any kind. If you do register it costs $15 which gives you access to full user support, you can also purchase manuals. These are not shoved down your throat though and Pegasus Mail does seem to operate simply as a service provider. The user support could be useful if you have...

Speed Limits Life

Advantages: Can save lives
Disadvantages: Causes more pollution

...Speed limits are something that probably most drivers consider as having to be adhered to by everyone except himself or herself. It would certainly seem so judging by the way drivers behave on our roads. As a society we have laws to govern the way that we behave towards each other and they are for the general benefit of ALL. It would be impossible to run a society otherwise, without descending into anarchy. So if we have a law that limits the speed of traffic on a road then that is that. Break the law and risk prosecution for doing so. Some people will argue that because of the inaccuracy of speedometers in cars and lorries and the parallax error that can occur when viewing a speedometer, there should be some leeway about enforcing the speed limits. These factors could mean that although you think you are doing 30 mph you are in...

Tha Top Dogg Has No Limits

Advantages: Consistent quality
Disadvantages: No big single

..."No Limit Top Dogg" is the fourth album by the West Coast rapper, Snoop Dogg. This one is his second to be released whilst signed to Master P's record label, No Limit. This is where the idea for the album's title comes from as he heads this group, which also had Mystikal, C-Murder and Sillk the Shocker signed up too. These all make appearances through this release at some point, just as on "Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told". 1. "Dolomite" (Intro) 2. "Buck 'Em" (feat. Sticky Fingaz) On this one, Tha Top Dogg collaborates with Onyx's Sticky Fingaz, they perform on a bassy, laid-back tune which gets you swaying, and once the lyrics come into effect, this just continues the the way the music has influence on how you are forced to physically react. It is a strong way to get things started on this, his fourth solo album...

Vertical Limit Review

Advantages: Edge-Of-Your-Seat Action.
Disadvantages: Drags On A Little

...This was written by me for www.gameaday.co.uk Welcome to the world of Vertical Limit, an adrenaline pumping, risk taking adventure. A young risk taker by the name of Peter Garrett (Chris O’ Donnel) has a tendency to climb large mountains or buildings. He’s not alone though. His sister, Annie (Robin Turner) and his fellow team mates (Bill Paxton and Nicholas Lea) are also strung along for the ride. Mother nature seems to want to put an end to their days of climbing – permanently. They must risk their lives, in what will be their most perilous mission yet. The film opens with a truly gripping and breathtaking intro, which sets the pitch for the rest of the film. The film then fast-forwards to 3 years later, where Peter Garrett is on the team of a squad that are going to attempt to climb K2. K2 is the 2nd largest...
