Disadvantages: need to get letter for NCD proof, (not available in R.O.I or Northern Ireland)

Privilege Insurance - Apalling and inefficient customer service

Disadvantages: Poor service generally; pedantic; lack of response to complaints; ridiculous hold times

...I had always driven Company Cars until last November when I was made redundant and purchased my own car and insurance for the first time. Privilege were the cheapest quote I found. I set up the policy on line and was advised that I could have a no claims discount if I provided proof from my previous employer's insurer that I had made no claims. I requested this via my employer but it was not forthcoming and I contacted Privilege in Jan 09 to advise them that I had not deliberately 'overlooked' this but was having difficulty due to the redundancy circumstances. They then cancelled my policy in February. At this point I was fairly sanguine as I had not provided the proof. I reinstated the policy with zero no claims on the understanding that when I managed to obtain proof of no claims I would receive a backdated refund of the difference...

Insurance on the cheap!

Disadvantages: I'm not convinced the staff know what they are doing.

Although some may have been swayed by that weird advert with Iggy Pop, personally I decided to go with them because they gave me the cheapest quote on all the insurance comparison websites, and, like a lot of people out there, saving pennies is important to me right now. *******The cost******** The quote that Swiftcover gave me was for £80 a month, although this is steep considering the type of car I drive (a Nissan Micra), I didn't have a claims bonus, I live just outside a city, I've been driving for less than two years and I also have three points on my licence (due to an unfortunate incident at some traffic lights). Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance is a spray on leave in conditioner for weak or distressed hair, I decided to try it because I seen it advertised in that 'makeover' tv advertisement where they take a normal girl and make her look great. You can buy this spray in conditioner for around £3.50 in boots for the 250ml bottle which is a great price as I use alot of it and the bottle feels still about 1/4 full and I bought it 2 months ago. The first thing I noticed about this spray is the smell, it smells gorgeous, just the same as all the Aussie products do, its hard to describe the smell...
