Drafted in to impress the ladies

...Another one of the princes in the ever increasing selection in the Barbie box.
This one was one of the "must haves" when Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus was all the rage; the film came complete with 3D glasses, so it's remained quite a popular one in our house.
Prince Aidan has reasserted himself now with the advent of Barbie and the Twelve dancing Princesses, because Little Miss has realised that she should try to give the princesses a prince each!
~~What is he?~~
Basically, another Barbie boy in a Barbie world.
As with the other Barbie boys, he stands slightly taller than Barbie at a very respectable 13" whereas Barbie usually measures in at about 12". (All measurements are approximate!! )
This one has brown hair which isn't so much coiffed as straightened with his ghds! Nice centre parting, and hair dragged towards...

Groom and Glam Pegasus
Advantages: Adorable, looks good,

Why I bought this?

This is one of the two things my daughter asked Santa for this past Christmas and was the only thing I found almost impossible to get for her! She had got the Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus DVD for her birthday on the 9th November and ever since she asked for the Shiver Teddy Bear and a Pegasus Pony!
She saw this advertised on TV a million and one times and every single time she said "I want that" So being the brilliant mum I am, I set out at the end of November to start my Christmas shopping?.First stop Woolworth's?. Picked up a couple of things and saw the Princess Annika Barbie doll (which I had already bought on special offer along with the DVD) which reminded me that I had to get the pony too. Searching the many aisles though I could not see this anywhere in the store...

Mattel Shake and Go Mater Pixar Cars
Advantages: Very durable. Simple to use.
Disadvantages: Not much.
...This is one of Mattel's motorised Shake and Go toys from the Pixar CGI film "Cars" which are released under the Fisher Price banner. The film is incredibly popular with children of all ages and the merchandise is still selling well years after the film was released in the cinema.
This toy in particular is Mater, a tow truck who befriends Lightning McQueen when he arrives in Radiator Springs. The toy has a reasonably good likeness to the character from the film. However, like the other toys in this line, the design is stylised, presumably to accommodate the mechanism inside.
When you shake the car from side to side an engine start-up noise is heard. As you continue shaking a revving sound is heard. The more you shake, the further the car will go. Then you place the car down on the floor and after a seconds pause it plays one...

Pegasus-A great email client
Advantages: compact, fast, many features
Disadvantages: no newsgroups
...I came across Pegasus Mail on my university network. I have since come to use it as my preferred email client and have downloaded it for the computer at home. We now have both Pegasus and Outlook Express on the computer but OE is now very rarely started. Pegasus offers all the features of outlook that I could care to use and presents them in a much more simple and straight forward interface than OE.
The programme has been developed by independent programmers and is completely free to download, and there is no adware or any obligation to pay registration fees of any kind. If you do register it costs $15 which gives you access to full user support, you can also purchase manuals. These are not shoved down your throat though and Pegasus Mail does seem to operate simply as a service provider. The user support could be useful if you have...

Every little girl's magical fantasy world!
Advantages: Every Barbie fan's dream come true
Disadvantages: They will watch it every night!
...My little 5 year old girl is a very big fan of Barbie this year and everytime something about her comes on TV she has her nose almost pinned against the screen, We walk into Woolworths and she is mesmerised by all the Barbie dolls and toys!
I saw this on special offer in Woolworths at the beginning of November for her birthday. I paid £14.99 for the DVD but the special offer was that if you paid the £14.99 for DVD you could purchase the Princess Annika Barbie doll for only £9.99 (usual price £19.99) Unfortunately this offer has ended so you will probably pay £19.99 for the doll again.
Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus is the newest DVD release starring Barbie herself as Princess Annika.

A glimpse of paradise
Advantages: Warm, friendly family run hotel, plenty of sunbeds,

The Pegasus Hotel is situated in Roda, a small village that was originally used mainly for fishing, but is now an ideal spot for touring the north part of Corfu. Roda consists of several well-managed restaurants and bars that offer something suited to couples, single persons or families, and boast's one of the loveliest sandy beaches in Corfu.
Roda's local inhabitants are all very friendly, and nearly all offer welcome greetings as you pass them on your tour of the village.
