...It took me at least a week to come to a semi conclusion of how I felt about Eden Lake; it took me a few days at least to get over the initial shock and emotion felt by watching it. And I have to say that the film I am about to review is like nothing I have seen before. Eden Lake, is an English film directed by a man called James Watkins, I had never heard of the film nor the director and I was not that enthusiastic about watching it, but after a day moping about alone I wanted something scary to watch and it was in the horror section of my local movie shop at a price of £4 so I thought I would give it a watch. Sometimes I just crave something to give me a bit of a scare. A Lodge on the Lake

Advantages: Fantstic service and lovely lodges

A Lake with a myth - Lake Kournas, Crete

Advantages: Beautiful clear freshwater lake, need a car to get there

  A forest in the lakes

Advantages: RELAXING, MOD CONS, PLENTY TO DO

...outside of the waterworld and lands you into a pool outside where observers can view as they walk alongside the lake, this is a bit scary for me as it goes really fast and after viewing the empy pool at night realised how dangerous it looks but I can guarantee that this is safe as I went on it myself and it was a really exhilirating ride once I got over the fear! The vertical slide is great and this takes you into a pool of water at the bottom which is fairly deep but was roughly 1m in depth. Spa pools are located around the swimming areas and provide an area of relaxation amongst the thrill of the rides!! Inside is a cafe to gain snacks and drinks during your swim, waves are programmed to come on randomly in the main pool which are great fun especially for young children. The Lake House

Advantages: You can watch it over and over again its that good...
Disadvantages: None what so ever!

...brother Harry informs her that he died 2 years ago on Valentines day. She realises who the man was that died in her arms and races to the lake house to leave a letter for Alex?but does he get there in time?? The film is 94 minutes long and is rated a 12, on the Dvd there is special features of additional scenes adn outtakes and the trailer for the film. It really is a good old cuddle up on the sofa film or just one of those days when you think what should i watch...I know...Good old Lake house, it doesnt seem to bore me, I think i could watch it over and over again (I actually watched it this morning)!! Titicaca - Visitng the world's highest navigable lake (allegedly)

...Lake Titicaca is situated on the border between Peru and Bolivia and is famous for being (arguably) the highest navigable lake in the world (3812m above sea level). Even though that definition may be a tiny bit subjective, (there are higher lakes in the world and some boats can navigate in only a few inches of water), you shouldn't question that claim too loudly it if you visit - this lake is home to the flotilla of the Bolivian Navy (pretty impressive, given that Bolivia is landlocked!).
