...I visited Pension Stankovic, Dubrovnik in the spring of 2009. We spent tree days in Dubrovnik an It is not easy to find the house We arrived in Dubrovnik in the evening. We were tired and it was dark. The navigation system showed us a road which was forbidden for the car. I get out of the car, took the navigation system in my hands and started to follow the commands. I was really surprised when I saw that to reach the address I had to climb at least 100 steps. I didn't have any choice and I climbed the steps. After climbing all the steps, I understood that this was not the right street. I went down and I tried the next street with the same number of steps... :-) After the third try I found the street which was at least 200 steps far of the car. Plan on Sleeping Through It

...Although we have somewhat moved onto pastures new (Noddy and Peppa Pig) when it comes to Harry's television viewing, Bob the Builder still remains a good faithful to plonk on for him when I desperately need to get on with the dinner and Harry's trying to "help" me. We have a small collection of Bob DVD'S courtesy of Harry's Nanny, and this is one he does like to watch pretty regularly, and I must say it is a fun watch, even for me who has seen it god knows how many times! Bob the Builder is a hit children's television show currently being shown on Nick Jnr and Nick Jnr 2 throughout the day. The show is also widely available on DVD, from all of the televised series, as well as specials which were created specially for DVD such as this one, Bob's Big Plan. When all else fails - there's always Plan B!

...I have read most of Emily Barr's novels and each one is fresh and enjoyable and you think they can't get any better. However, having just read Plan B, they do get better and I was totally absorbed in this story from the moment I picked the book up! Emily Barr is such a good storyteller and she hooks you from the very start so that you don't want to stop reading. I found myself snatching odd moments in the day to pick this book up, and now that I've finished it I'm almost disappointed as I didn't want to stop reading. The main character in the book is Emma and over half of the story is told from her point of view and is written in the first person. A Miami Miami; I'm a pensioner now

Disadvantages: No breakfast, no windows, not wheelchair friendly, questionable neighbourhood

...~~~ Overview & Appearance ~~~ I have just returned from another of my legendary "shoe-string" budget tours during which I stayed at the Pension Miami hotel with Mrs Ben. We stayed two nights at said establishment for the princely sum of £68.29 via HotelClub.com. Admittedly the hotel was booked before finding out certain details which may have led me to choose another establishment such as the lack of breakfast and the "ladies of the night" who alledgedly ply their trade in the immediate vicinity (we did not see any of this however). The Hotel itself is located on an alley which none of the locals had heard of and it took us a little while to find the address. Make sure you print out a map before you leave home! The alley and the outside of the hotel are not hugely inviting as the alley precludes sunlight and the surrounding buildings...

Flight Plan - Everyone thinks she's crazy.

Advantages: A good thriller, with an interesting story line.
Disadvantages: Perhaps not enough tension for some.

...This is a movie that I bought for £3 from Asda. It took me a long time to get around to viewing it, but when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. Flight Plan is a thriller directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Erika Christensen, and Sean Bean. It was released by Touchstone Pictures in 2005, and is based on the classic film The Lady Vanishes, which was released 67 years earlier. I am a bit of a wimp these days when it comes to watching films. Anything over a 12 rating and I have to sit near the door. If there is any hint of violence I am usually known to go and make a cup of tea! Don?t get me wrong, I like a good action movie, I just find it hard to cope with the tension and violence. So was this movie too much for me? Did I have to spend the duration drinking earl grey or even worse a fruit tea...

Onto Plan 10 I guess?

Advantages: Bela Lugosi!
Disadvantages: So bad its funny

...Prior to actually watching the film all I knew about it was this - It was bad, it was low budget, it was by Ed Wood and the stuff I'd seen from the Johnny Depp Ed Wood film. Ignoring the film (which very faithfully reproduces sections of "Plan 9" very well and actually watching Plan 9 itself) I tried to watch this with as open a mind as I could manage. The original title of the movie "Grave Robbers From Outer Space" is used during Criswell's opening monologue. The effects are terrible (flying saucers are spray painted dishes on string), as is the use of lots of stock footage to save money on the effects budget. Wood as the editor pays no attention to any kind of continuity (watch the 2nd plane cabin scene and watch the Stewardess's clipboard moving all over the place).
