...This is an awsome laptop, you can easily multi-task and play games. it is very easy to use and is very quick . It is great for the whole family wether for kids and homework or parents and paperwork. It has alot of good features like vista basic , and microsoft office 08. There really isn't much u can criticize about this laptop probably the fact it takes a little while to load to the sign in screen. It also has a great internet connectivity wireless so you can go online anywhere in the house ...AS I AM NOW! but seriously this is an awsome laptop your're getting an amazing deal for your money you can't really get a better laptop for you money omg seriously... ...this is a great new laptop from the sony vaio range. if your looking for somthing small, sleek, portalble and with fast speeds, then this is the one for you. one great thing about sony over other laptop brands, is that you always know your sony laptop wil look cool. this vaio is no ecception, and i certainly wouldnt be embarresed to get this out in the street and play around with it. its compact 15.4 inch screen also features active matrix technology which is just taking imadge quality to a new level these days. one of the best things about this laptop is how cheap it is, you can easily pick one up for about £500 and they will no doubt get cheaper. another great thing about this is its fantastic specification. it has Intel Pentium Dual Core processor with 1gb of ram which can even be upgraded to 2gb if need be. these are both... It hasn't got dual core but at the end of the day who really needs this. This laptop is and ideal buy for any company that gives laptops to their employees, or whether you want a machine to potter about at home on. Extremely stylish and lite weight, this can be carried anywhere with you and has wi-fi so if you require it for business purposes then don't worry you can still log on in your hotel room. 512MB RAM is quite enough for any user, in my job the files produce are of extreme size and there is no problem storing all this on this machine. Managed to get a great bargain at PC World (part of DSG International plc), laptop, laptop bag, anti-virus software, microsoft office 2007, wireless router and wireless printer for just £499.99. This runs on windows vista home premium, which is a lot better than vista basic as you can get the aero theme and some extra programs and features installed from the start. The installed ram on this laptop is great, it has a massive 2gb, which certainly helps the laptop run so fast, also the Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 / 1.46 Ghz processor, which features Enhanced SpeedStep technology defiantly helps making this laptop so quick on running demanding programs. ...I have owned several different ThinkPad's over the years. I have enjoyed them all and found them to be extremely useful and reliable. I knew that I wanted a decent quality portable laptop that would be suitable for all the basics. I have been using the laptop mainly for office related items such as documents and spreadsheets but have also been using it to store and edit photographs and videos. So far I have had no problems and that fact that it comes with a media card reader was very useful. This version of the ThinkPad is pretty similar to the rest of the laptops in the series. There is little to no distortion with the screen and it is fairly bright and gives a high quality picture. It was quite a battle in the end between the Dell 1520 and the Sony NR10 Laptop as they both offered great value, but the Sony just had that extra bit of sparkle about it to make me part with my cash SONY VAIO NR10 First of all the Sony Vaio NR10 has a superb 15.4" 1280 x 800 high resolution screen that is truly stunning to both look at (very slick indeed) and use, then there's a massive 2GM of ram (memory) which is over twice that of my previous Laptop. ...This is my second Toshiba Satellite. Until recently I have been using a slightly dated but very effective Toshiba Satellite L10-114. Having recently purchased this new one though, I have to say there is a substantial improvement over my old lap top. I run my own business from home and my lap top is my life line and main source of income so it always has to be Toshiba for me. They are so reliable and trustworthy that I will not risk any other make now. The L40-12T is simply a stunning looking machine and creates an instant wow factor - key when using it in front of clients at presentations etc. It looks like a far more expensive machine than it really is. This is sadly quite key in such a material world. The resolution of the screen is of the highest order in my opinion. For some reason - and there may be a technical reason... Read review
