17 Perfect Pout Lip Liner

Disadvantages: Dry, limited colours, doesn't last long

...I usually stick to sheer lip-glosses, but I spotted a Boots 17 lipliner in a lovely caramel-brown shade and bought it for the bargain price of £2.50! I buy total crap. I don't even own a lipstick in a caramel shade, so it was a complete waste of money, but I decided to try it as a lip-pencil instead, and just shade in my lips with that. The pencil itself is navy blue, with a matching lid and silver writing. The end of the pencil has a band around it, in the colour of the lip-liner. It doesn't have any ingredients information in there, but it's fragrance free and dermatologically tested. I saw about four or five different shades in there. Perfect defined lips without looking like a drag queen!

...No 7 perfect lips liner is £7.25 ($11) Lip liner isn't worn by a lot of people as most people find it difficult to line the lips without making a mess by applying either too much or not doing a neat job of it. Packaging The packaging of the lip liner is much more attractive than most lip liners I have seen. It is accumulated in a plastic tube with a lid. You twist the tube in order to get the pencil to come out of the hole at the top. The colour of the packaging is similar to the colour of the actual lip liner so it's much easier to find the colour you want to use if you have a few of the No7 perfect lips lip liner. I purchased the shade "nude" so I could lip liner my lips with something natural rather than something that stood out seen as I'm only a beginner at the lip liner malarkey. Review of Boots No.7 Perfect Lips Liner

The Body Shop Lip Liner

Advantages: Soft, easy to use, attractive packaging
Disadvantages: Bit expensive but lasts well

...I've been using this product for a while now (since I was 15ish and I am now nearly 20) and it's the only lip liner that I buy as it does everything I could want it to do and it is great quality. This lip liner is quite expensive at £8 per 10 gram pencil but it does last really well (6 months at least even with regular use) and is good quality. There are 7 shades available which are: Beech, Clover Pink, Mauve Berry, Mahogany, Pink Brown, Nude and Rosy Red. I own this in Rosy Red which is a pinky red with a beige tint to it if you get what I mean! It's very well pigmented and gives a lovely subtle finish and acts as a great lip liner but can also be applied onto the lips and then smudged if that makes sense if you want a tiny tint of colour, it also is suprisingly conditioning so it doesn't dry the lips out like you would expect...
