The Perfume of a Princess!

Advantages: Smells Very Distinctive, Long Lasting, Beautiful Bottle, Very Feminine
Disadvantages: May be too sweet and floral for some

...One of my favourite things to treat myself to is perfume and those who have read my earlier reviews will know that I am a self confessed perfume addict. I love the different varieties you can buy all with their own distinctive scents and pretty bottles. I have worked hard at my perfume addiction though and have really cut back on the amount that I buy ? these days I adopt a one in one out rule as I started getting far too many bottles of half used fragrances sat in my wardrobe (any perfume lover knows that you keep bottles out of daylight to keep them smelling fresh). Before we went on honeymoon I used up a couple of bottles of perfume and so I decided to treat myself to something new rather than buy a replacement for the fragrances that I just finished from the duty free shop at the airport. The Princess and the Perfume

Advantages: Light and delicate scent, sexy
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive

When the crown cap is on, the spray cap isn't covered, still being able to be pressed, or knocked, resulting in loss of perfume. However if like me, you save this perfume for best and don't carry it around in your bag then it should be fine as it isn't likely to get knocked sat on a dressing table or in a drawer. On the front of the bottle it says, 'VERA WANG Princess', a very simple but effective design, it doesn't really need anything more than that added to it as it would ruin the whole look of the bottle. *USING THE PERFUME* As the bottle is picked up to be sprayed, it fits snuggly and easily in the hand. This is all down to how the bottle has been designed, imparticular the design at the back, with the bottle sloping down into the smaller wider heart...

...I want to get one thing out in the open straight away: I love perfume. Because of this, I have far too many bottles, but always feel like I want more anyway. I go through perfume phases, where I become obsessed with one scent and won't wear anything else. On the flipside, I sometimes get so fed up with a perfume that I just can't wear it anymore and my bottle will be confined to the back of the shelf. If it wasn't for perfume and shoes, I'd be a very rich lady. Miracle bottles

Advantages: No wind, no ear infections, no colic, teats don't collapse, doesn't contain Bisphenol A
Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean, the price

...Now I must start this by saying I never had a particularly colicky baby to start with but I still think these are brilliant. After messing my baby about considerably; breast, bottle, orthadentic teats, normal teats, dummies etc I took the plunge and bought these. My baby is very adaptable and never bothers how she is getting her milk or what from as long as she is getting it. I mix fed her from the beginning and was using disposable orthadentic teats. This was very handy but once she was on bottles full time it was too expensive to continue. So i bought some normal teats but these kept collapsing as she sucks so hard and the amount of bubbles going back into the milk really bothered me. Royalty in a bottle!

Advantages: Pretty packaging,light and delicate scent, great gift

...I was bought this perfume by a friend after mentionning that I had seen it advertised in a magazine. The packaging is very girly - a heart shaped bottle - the top a little crown adorned wth pink diamontes- thus the name princess! I have been told that the top can be worn as a ring, but personally I wouldn't! Perhaps not the best packaging for the more sophisticated woman - but I liked it! And one should never judge a "book by its cover". The scent is very feminine, romantic, light and definetly for summer nights! A lot of perfumes bring my chest area out in blotches but this was fine, so may be good for others with sensitive skin? I found that the perfume didn't last very long but I find that with most perfumes as I am always afraid of wearing too much and overpowering anyone that ventures to near! Perhaps the body lotion could help...

Ibiza Hippie by Escada perfume!

Advantages: beautiful light smell!
Disadvantages: Hard to find, and a little expensive!

...Escada Ibiza Hippie I got this perfume in a Collector?s Edition pack of 5 Escada Perfumes; Island kiss, Rockin? Rio, Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat and Ibiza Hippie. I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one! And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn?t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it! Avent Bottles

Advantages: Look like a bottle
Disadvantages: Can leak

...In my opinion Avent bottles look like a bottle should and have excellent wear and tear value. I prefer the look of the Avent bottle compare to the tommie tippie (closer to nature) bottles as the tommie tippie teats look too natural and I am sure thats the point but I like a bottle to look like a bottle. The Avent bottle wash well in the dishwasher, however you might not want to wash them with plates or saucepans that have just cooked Bolognese or curry as they do stain the color of the teats and lids. They can leak from time to time, so make sure before you set off that you check it first otherwise you might end up with milk all over the place. These bottle also work really well with the Avent pump. Just screw on and go. The teats also come in different sizes for thicker liquids or hungrier babies. These are not cheap at around £4...

Bottle Rocket

Advantages: Good dialogue, good acting, interesting story
Disadvantages: Is a bit of a slow moving story

...Seeing how I think I did ok reviewing another of Wes Andersons movies I figured I might as well have a go at reviewing the others I've seen as well, so I figured I'd start with Bottle Rocket, as thats the first film that Wes directed and its also the first film that Owen and Luke Wilson and Bob Musgrave starred in too, the start of good things to come! This movie I believe was written while Owen (and Luke(?)) and Wes were at university together in Texas in the 1990s and is now seen as a cult comedy hit. Bottle Rocket is all about three friends who team up to escape their boring lifes and pursuit a life of petty crime. This eventually leads to the local criminal 'head honcho' who's played by James Caan, spotting them and convincing them to carry out a large heist - but is it too much for them to handle and will they get away with it...
