Getting personal with Coleen

Advantages: full of information, attractive, price, emotional
Disadvantages: emotional

...find room to twist. I adore the detail Coleen has included in the final few chapters about the presenting industry. For me, this is always going to be useful, and it has opened my eyes further to the career I some day in the near future hope to succeed in. A lot of emotion was also brought out of me, as Coleen talks deeply about many painful events. Just reading about her times of heart ache drew many a tear to my eye. There were some beautifully weepy parts too, such as her 40th birthday and her wedding day with Ray. When she talks of her mother's Alzheimer's, it is so wonderfully written that it is enough to break even the toughest of people. I could not recommend a more fulfilling autobiography than 'Upfront and Personal'. It is full of families and careers, love and lust, honesty and secrecy and everything in between. A Personal Disappointment

So I eagerly tried to get hold of it and was really pleased when I did, so much so it went straight to the top of my "To be read" pile. In a word "WOW" this product is amazing and so simple to use, wash and wax the car as normal and then when ever it rains or the car gets covered in dust just mist and wipe. Mist one panel at a time wipe on dry off its that simple, and the finish is outstanding as it states on the label the whole car can be done in about 15 minutes. I did mine in exactly 15 minutes and I have an average size saloon, the finish is like glass and the shine is blinding. And as a bonus it actually takes out light swirl marks...

Wahl, what a close shave i had with these...

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight and trims without tugging
Disadvantages: cutting edges can become a little warm after a while

...a month to help hide my baldness, but as I had previously used Wahl hair trimming products I decided to bite the bullet, so to speak, and invest in what I hoped would last for quite some time. That was nearly a year ago now and the yucky browny purple coloured hair trimmers are still going strong. This trimmer itself is great for shaving my head, plus, what I really found was a boon about it was it that it is brilliant for the finer details around the edges, such as side burns and the back of my neck, maybe even them tramlines as well, (although I don?t have any tram lines in what?s left of my hair). The electric cable is of a good length so you?re not stuck to that plug socket near the floor, forcing you to kneel down in a dodgy position until you?ve finished the job in hand. ...have to stop manually at the end of your ride or training session. The instructions focus on describing the functions and setting up the computer, with a trouble-shooting guide if problems occur. The content is good, well laid out and easy to follow. Where the instructions fail is in fitting the computer to your bike. Setting up the computer is very easy and if you follow the exact instructions, you should have no problems. I wouldn?t try and sort it out without the instructions because it is not that obvious and you will struggle. A quick fitting guide is included but it is absolutely rubbish and of no use as the diagrams are so small they would fit on the back of a cigarette packet. I was starting to wonder what I had got myself into at this point. I then decided that it would be best to have a full refund so that I could get a computer that worked as soon as possible. To request a refund from Mesh Computers you have follow their terms and conditions. This means that you have to ask for a refund in writing only. Mesh initially would not send out the labels so that I could return the computer. It took them 3 weeks to collect the computer. It took them another 6 weeks to decide that there was nothing wrong with the computer. They are now insisting that I take the defective goods back! The way this company operates is beyond belief. It?s now four months later (April 2009) and Mesh Computers...

ASUS EEE PC 701 - Small but perfectly formed

...This review looks at one of many netbooks to be released in the UK over the past few months, ASUS's EEE PC 701 SD. The model I have is fitted with Windows XP and has an 8Gb hard drive. I bought it on special offer for £155. Appearance The 701SD is absolutely tiny. It weighs around a kilogram and is roughly the same size as a hardback reading book when in the closed position. It comes in a neat box along with instructions,a mains charger, a protective case and a system CD. It has a 7 inch screen which is absolutely tiny but is still perfectly functional. The unit has three USB sockets, headphone and microphone jacks, and SD memory card slot, a small webcam above the screen and a microphone positioned just underneath the keyboard. It has a small touchpad which is small but works in exactly yhte same way as a normal sized laptop...
