The Wii Fit Plus is an excellent add on, and great fun!

...The wii fit has been keeping me happy for quite a while now, but eventually when you have played and tried all the games within it eventually it gets left in a box behind the sofa, for 72 days according to my wii fit. So when i saw the Wii Fit plus was for sale I pre ordered it straight away, it gives a much needed new enjoyable boost into the what was already great wii fit. There are many extra fun things to do whilst getting fit with the Wii Fit Plus in my opinion. One of the great things is that it transfers all of your data from the wii fit easily and quickly in one click. You can now weigh your babies and pets on this. A Plus for any Computer User

Advantages: Good helpdesk and masterclass sections
Disadvantages: Price slightly steep

Sky Plus

Advantages: Too many to mention

PC Plus - subscribe and save £2.39 off DVD price

...Subscribe and save £2.39 off DVD price. I am a DVD version subcriber of PC Plus I converted my subscription when the magazine started it's DVD issues in May of this Year. That's when the problems started, as a loyalty bonus they upgraded my subscriprion from the CD to the DVD at no extra charge. Great you would say well my subscription ended June and I was sent no reminder of renewal and the copies simply stopped arriving. My CD subscriprion was automatically renewed and it would have been up to me to unsubscribe. Its has taken from May until now to sort out the subsciption foul-up and Septembers issue arrived to bang on schedule. So I guess that they must be making progress with subcription problems. The £6 cover price may seem high but if you subscribe by direct debit, £10.83 quarterly, the price drops considerably to £3...

This Service is a Definite Plus

Advantages: record two programmes at a time, stores days of programming, rewind and pause live TV
Disadvantages: requires subscription of a premium package as well as a sub for the sky plus service.

Best PC Mag for non-gamers

Advantages: Great software, well laid out, good range of sections, for novice and more advanced users.
Disadvantages: More expensive than other magazines

...When I was first looking to buy a PC, I visited my local newsagents and bought a couple of PC magazines, one of which was PCPlus. That was over two years ago and I still buy the magazine, although not every month. The general layout of the magazine is very good, with sections for everyone. The news section, while good, is a little behind due to the nature of magazine publications. Most of what is in the news section, I've already read at various computer websites, but this is not the fault of PCPlus. Other sections include Labtests - where the round-up various hardware and software, and give it a good going over. Workshops - tutorials on how to use software to it's fullest.
