...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

Cosi little seat!

...I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe. ...This is a fantastic car seat for up to a year old baby. It is very user friendly with easy instructions if you can't work out certain things. It is a slim design so it is quite light and easy to carry, the seat belt is a stylish and simple design where you have to interlock the arm straps then fasten between the legs. The handle can be placed in three positions: 1. behind the seat on the floor to stop seat rocking 2. behind the baby's head so it can rock 3. In place for you to be able to carry it. The seat also comes standard with a fabric cover which attaches to the handle to protect the baby from bright sunlight, and when not in use sits snuggly back in its pouch. Petite Star Zia Stroller - Travel or not to Travel?

Advantages: Lightweight and compact - ideal for travel.
Disadvantages: Basket underneath is far too small, no 'hanging' space from handles.

...We bought our Zia Stroller for travel purposes only. We have an iCandy Apple travel system which, although excellent, was too large to take on holiday. We also didn't want it to get damaged via baggage handling. We looked at several other pushchairs - including the Quinny Zapp. However, this and others were not suitable as they did not lie flat...at the time of our holiday to Lanzarote, our daughter was 13 weeks old and unable to sit upright. Also, newborns must be able to lie completely flat to aid respiration and ensure that their spine's are not contorted. (It is only reccommended that they stay in a car seat for no more than 2 hours at a time due to the pressure it puts on their lungs and spine.) ...I bought this pushchair for my 7 month son as his travel system was getting too big and bulky to push around, I wanted something lightweight and was recommended this. It is very lightweight, folds superbly flat and my son is very comfortable in it. Although the basket is very small to put things in, you can't use it or access it if the seat is reclined, if you're out and may need the rain cover it fits nicely folded up in the basket, but nothing else does! The rain cover is excellent really easy to use and the flap on the front is really good idea and a great way to get your baby without having to take the whole thing off. It goes up and down kerbs and on and off buses easily, it also goes up and down my drive which is loose chippings easily, (better than the travel system that wouldn't.) Britax Duo Isofix Car Seat.

Advantages: When fixed on isofix point, Zafira car seats can still be pulled forward.
Disadvantages: Does not recline very much.

...When I bought my vaxhaul Zafira 18months ago I struggled to gain access to the boot ,as my child car seat was attached using a seat belt and this prevented the seat gliding forward. So I invested in a duo isofix and I love it so much I've just bought a 2nd one. The seat can be used on either the isofix points or 3 point seat belt so it offers flexibility if you need to transfer into other cars.. Small disadvantage is you need to slot on a guard to protect isofix teeth if using on seat belt system (This is supplied as part of the seat) I store this in my glove compartment but it means I struggle to keep all my cds in there so frustrates me a little.
