Moving on from the retro-chic, turbo-geek look and sound of their first album Return Of The Rentals, frontman Matt Sharp grew his hair, moved to Barcelona and decided to rock. Seven More Minutes starts out with a bouncy ode to the power of positive drinking and the hedonistic, upbeat mood from then on is almost irrepressible; even songs with titles such as "Say Goodbye Forever" sound more cheerful than depressed. Although technically an American band, the Rentals have gathered a great British supporting cast this time around: Ash's Tim Wheeler, Blur's Damon Albarn, Lush's Miki Berenyi and Donna Matthews, formerly of Elastica. ThatDog's Petra Haden is back and her vocal harmonies are mixed to a creamy perfection; while on the absolutely gorgeous "My Head Is in the Sun", Maya Rudolph whispers a comforting chorus. The party atmosphere fades on the album's ennui-soaked closer, "Jumping Around", which leaves you with the downside of a debauched lifestyle. Still, it's not enough to sink the overall buoyant, jubilant mood of this endearing album. --Nick Berry
Advantages: A unique and awesome insight into an ancient civilisation. Disadvantages: Lots of walking which may deter those with mobility issues.
This is no of the Blue Peter fame but a world heritage site,an ancient city hidden in the middle of the mountains in Jordan. I would like to share my opinions on this magically mysterious place and encourage you to visit yourselves to marvel at the wanders that it beholds. It was built around 100 BC by the Nabataeans and only recently discovered in 1812. Petra has recently been named...

Review of Petra (Jordan)
Advantages: Large rooms, nice location Disadvantages: Entertainment
...better than at many hotels. And as the room was so large it didn?t seem too bad.
There was television, radio, and bedside lamps.
The bathroom was adequate and had a few toiletries and hairdryer was supplied.
The rooms had stone tiled floors throughout.
The sea view from the balcony was fantastic .One thing I want from my holiday is to see plenty of sea.
Sheets were changed every few...
Advantages: The pictures, the words Disadvantages: Might take a bit of effort to get hold off at a reasonable price in the UK
...To avoid any potential confusion, the book I am referring to is Jane Taylor's tourist guide to Petra (2005 edition) and not the more historically focused Petra & the Nabateans.
Guidebooks serve many different purposes: some are to help you decide what you will visit; some are to help you find your way around once you get there; and others are to help you find out a bit more about what it was...
