Wow a review on a petrol station

Advantages: Convenient
Disadvantages: Not as cheap as the nearby Tesco filling station

..., which provides a wider selection of instore products such as snacks and coffee. It has a branch of the Wild Bean Cafe which is exlcusively found in BP garages. They have a pretty decent range of coffee, cakes (including some great danish's!), sandwiches and salads (the salads arent nice) They accept all the regular credit cards, and they participte int he Nectar loyalty scheme! Best of all, its open 24h. If you want convienience, this is a useful petrol station, but if you want a good bargain, there is a Tesco filling station (Colney Hatch Lane), which is very close and easily accessible from the same stretch of North Circular as well. Hope that wasnt too dull! (I also publish as DanLondon on dooyoo)...

Advantages: easy transport access
Disadvantages: high petrol prices.

One of Britain's largest petrol companies. regarding Payment options all the usual payment methods are accepted including the petrol station plays some music and provides its Customers some entertainment. the petrol station has some seats that allow Customers to enjoy their Coffee. There is no seating space outside. However two hundred yards down the road is Lowlands Road hill, where there are public benches, and grass verges for people to sit down on during the summer months. the forecourt is a fast paced sales store, and as such does not meet my expectations to drink Coffee at this petrol station. though at least it provides some Customers with some flexibility to takeaway or Drink in store. petrol prices are high, and regardless of the Price of fuel, the forecourt offers the usual newsagency...

No mum it's not a petrol station, it's the Holiday Inn Oxford.

Advantages: Great Price. Good location for roads. Next to park and ride, cheaper than paying for parking!
Disadvantages: Another Holiday Inn, nothing that unique about it. Surly reception staff.

It is at the Peartree interchange, which is adjacent to one of the city?s main park and rides, providing easy access to the city. Oxford is notorious difficult to park in so the park and ride is actually a blessing considering the hotel provides free parking. I will admit, first impressions are not great. My mother thought we were taking her to the motorway services for a weekend as the hotel is located just off the dual carriageway accompanied by a petrol station and a burger king. Not a glamorous location by any means, but certainly convenient. Check In The lobby is large and there is plenty of space to wait whilst checking in. Optimax Petrol.

Advantages: Will make a marked improvement on your car.
Disadvantages: Won't happen overnight. More expensive.

...Optimax petrol is very good. It does make your car more responsive <great in traffic! >. To put my theory to the test, I ran my car on Optimax for 1 year the changed back to regular 95 RON petrol. My car became more sluggish and the MPG came down significantly. From 380 per tank (about 50 litres) to 280. So, the extra 3p per litre could justify this. Because Optimax is more refined <hence, the bigger octane rating> it burns much cleaner and hence, you get a better MPG. This opinion is obviously tying to my car; other people may <and probably will> get different results. The "Optimax" effect will not happen overnight. To really feel a difference you'll have to run it for at least 3000 miles. However, please don't be fooled that the higher octane rating the better it will be for your car! This is a fallacy. It's a Petrol Station!

Advantages: All you would expect
Disadvantages: Bit hard to get out of at rush hour

...We found this petrol station by accident when we were looking for Rufford Craft Centre,and were very pleased we did. It seems to be in the middle of a no-petrol area! It is on the A614, nicely outside Ollerton, so you don't have to go into the middle of the town to find it, which is always a pain when you don't know the area. It is located on a corner by a roundabout, which is good if you are coming along the A616 or the Mansfield Road, but not so good for getting out of the petrol station at rush house, as the traffic builds up towards the roundabout. It is open 24hours, and the staff that served us were pleasant and helpful. It has all the normal stuff you'd expect in a petrol station shop. However the inspiration behind this review came on Christmas Day morning when driving past here I noticed that it was not only one of the few Filling Stations that was actually open for business as usual in my home City of Sheffield, but that the Supermarket that is attached to this place was also open, fully functional and packed to capacity with people buying last minute items like Milk, Bread and Cigarettes. Advantages: Excellent petrol, good range of services like airpumps/vacuums etc at most stations

...Hmmm... so many people are dubious about buying from shell because of many reasons, however i am uncertain about where i stand in those questions so i'm not going into those, perhaps another day. What i'm reviewing here is the petrol stations, the shops, the service and the quality of petrol. I drove a Mk2 VW Golf (H-reg), which has done just over 100,000 miles (under average) - it ran ok when i bought it a few years ago, but used to not start every time and misfire when idleing. I started going to Shell in Cambridge (Trumpington) because it was near to my workplace and when i drove in (usually in the rain!) it was conveniant to fill up there. I also opened a Pluspoints scheme, which is pretty rubbish - but over time i thought it would bring benifits. The service at the station is average/good, they usually are fairly chatty...

Lego City Police Station - 7744 - Great addition to lego fans!

Advantages: Assembly in stages, easy to follow for older children/adults
Disadvantages: Base a bit floppy for moving the police station around

...My son got this Lego City Police Station for his 8th birthday. We paid £48.89 from Argos for it. It took me and my husband quite a while to help my son build it. But the end result was great. It comes in one box. Within the box are smaller bags. All the bags are numbered and all have a booklet inside for the particular part of the police station/vehicle. None of the items were missing, there were a few bits over though, which come in handy for the lego box! It is really easy to follow (for an adult), but I don't think my 8 year old would have had the knowledge or patience to build it himself. Some children his age probably could, but I'd say any child would probably need a bit of help from an adult. More Than Just A Petrol Station . . . .

Advantages: Everything you could need, great selection, good location.
Disadvantages: No car vacuum, sometimes a queue for the car wash.

...Situated along a busy road between Amersham and Little Chalfont, BP is on the right hand side if you are heading for Amersham with the Pineapple pub on the other side. Generally this particular petrol station serves its purpose well, what with its many amenities, there are a lot of selling points to this site. However busy it gets and busy it is, there is usually always a free pump and if not, you never tend to be waiting long for one. One downside is the queuing space, or lack of. If there is more than one or two cars queuing you are practically waiting on the road, signalling in, which is never nice! There are 2 parking spaces plus a disabled bay too, opposite the pumps with another 4 spaces next to the car wash, these are positioned perfectly for anyone checking their tyres or topping up their water or oil. ...It would be if it wasn't for government duty. People complain about the high level of duty but I've been driving since 1976 and its always like that. There's been a recent outcry about the huge profits that oil companies are making , but this is from industrial oil , not from petrol sales. Garages will make less than 3p a litre on the sale of petrol, I bet they have more mark up on a mars bar! The government arrogant stance on petrol revenue reminded me of the tories, they just told the country that they (the country) wouldnt understand the complicated issues , amd inplied it was the greedy oil companies who were causing the high prices , and it was impossible to put in a tax that responds to chamges in prices.
