Tea Time is PG Time

...PG Tip Tea Bags i do love a good cup of tea and throughtout the day i can drink from anywhere between 3 cups to 7 cups of tea. i would say it is certainly my drink of choice and i have been many places for a cup ie resturants of cafes and have never had a good a cup as i get when idrink tea at home. I think most places that you eat and drink out at wouldnt oftem sell PG as it is that little bit more expensive than most other brads of tea but in my opinion is well worth paying out that little bit extra money to get a much better cup of tea. buying PG tips will set you back just under £2 for a box of around 80 bags. Which unless you are making pots of tea thus using less for more cups you will get 80 cuops of tea out of one box. i find PG tips taste the best as some other teas will leave a musty kind of taste in the mouth...

There's No Other Tea To Beat PG!

...If you believe everything that you read in the papers then we (The British) are a nation of Tea drinkers. A good old cup of Tea has long been regarded as the perfect panacea for any occasion. I have always drunk a lot of Tea in preference to Coffee and from an early age I have always been brought up on PG Tips. As a kid I remember collecting the cards that were inside each of the packets and looking forward to going to my Grans at the weekend because she saved them for me too. The cards I am referring to were like cigarette cards and I used to stick them in a book only to find that there was always one card that was impossible to find no matter how many packets I made my Mother buy. Put a bit of PG into your life.

Advantages: Makes a good brew!
Disadvantages: More expensive than some

...Aaah, teabags. Where would we be without them? Whether we want comforting, or celebrating something, we always go for the good old cup of tea, don't we?! A good cup of tea solves everything, doesn't it?! I'm always stocked up with teabags. My home wouldn't be home without teabags in it! I normally go for the shops own brand, but Dad brought me round a box of PG Tips and a 2 pint carton of milk the other day when he poppped round. Was he trying to tell me something?? What he brought me was a box of 80 PG Tips priced at £1.59. That's not cheap, considering you can get 160 for less than half that in the stores! BUT, PG Tips is a household name now, and everybody loves them. I'm going to tell you today about the freeflow pyramid teabags. One question. Why don't you get the little cards in it now with the pictures of monkeys...

PG equals best T!!

...PG Tips is most definately my favourite brand of Tea. I drink loads and loads and even have get withdrawal symptoms, if I don't have my regular dose!! THE TEA... I purchased my last 80 bags (please note, this is the average contents and not guaranteed) box of Tea from my local Londis store at the cost of £1.69. If I were to buy these from a bigger store or supermarket, I would expect to pay slightly less. The box itself is predominately green and white with the familiar PG Tips logo appearing somewhere on five of the six sides of the box, so you definately know what you're buying. These are the new freeflow pyramid bags, so the opening method has changed slightly, with a 'push here to open' tab on the front. Not 100 percent effective as I've still managed to tear the box! Pg tips pyramid bags are the best

...I am usually a coffee drinker buy now and again a nice cup of tea is refreshing. I have tried other brands such as typhoo and I find that they dont have much of a taste apart from hot water. I started using Pg tips a few years ago and all my family and freinds loved coming for a cuppa and a chat because the tea made it worth while. When I saw the pyramid bags advertised I had to give them a try see if they tasted any better. Oh yes they did! the aim of them is that because the bag is in a pyramid shape it allows the leaves to move around more freeley to be able to relese that memorable taste. This is a true statement I can tell the difference between the normal pg tips and the pyramid bags you get a stronger tea taste with them and they cost just as much I have been able to buy mine for £3 for a pack of 500 on a special offer in...

The SL-PG 590

Advantages: Cheap, sturdy, ease of use.
Disadvantages: Basic, odd-colour (?), not the 490.

...I bought the SL-PG 590 in April, perhaps it's a little dated, and it's certainly not a top of the range product, in fact, it may not even be better than its predecessor the 490. It certainly wasn't in the view of What Hi-Fi. However this player has the distinct advantage of price over many of its rivals, at £89.95 from Richer Sounds, or 89.50 at John Lewis (worth knowing so you can get £10 back on the price promise at Richer Sounds!) its worth a look. As a starter piece i recommend this thoroughly, it is sturdily built, it has all the usual functions inc. repeat, random etc. and a very easy to use remote handset. The connectors are all very simple to use and there is even a handy one-touch track selector on the front. The display is clear and easy to understand. I linked this to a Denon PMA 250 amp and they work superbly in tandem....
