Slight Improvement on 8400 Phaser
Advantages: does duplex
Disadvantages: not quick enough, now behind with the times
...As a have stated in my previous review, I have three colour printers at work, one super duper one, a second being relatively good and my back up plan which was my last review.
The Xerox Phaser 8560 I have had for two years and decided to keep when I recently upgraded to my super duper printer that is my pride and joy when I am in creative mode at work. The Xerox Phaser 8560 replaced the 8400 a couple of years ago and we saw several improvements to the machine as you normally do, better going forwards than backwards.
The Phaser 8560 is a great printer and again takes crayon as opposed to ink that give it that excellent finish when producing reletively professional documents.
The sytling of the machine is very similar to that of the 8400, it is exactly the same size, and has the same control panel on the top of it which is good...

Set Phasers To EVIL Prog Rock
Advantages: ---------------------------
Disadvantages: ---------------------------
...For a number of years Danelectro have been making these rather stylish looking easy to use retro pedals. I have always been rather taken by their looks, and as I have stated in previous reviews guitars sound better with effects pedals and you can never have too many, which is why when I saw this little baby in Dawson?s Music in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester going for £15 I decided why not get this one too.
So what is a Phaser then? Well below is some info I managed to gleam of the internet:-
?Phasers use an internal low frequency oscillator to automatically move notches in the frequency response up and down the frequency spectrum. An important difference between phasing and flanging is that phasers space these notches evenly across the frequency spectrum, while the notches in flanging and chorus are harmonically (musically...

Amilo M7400 built to last
Advantages: sturdy, fast, slim, elegant, feature packed.
Disadvantages: poor quality sound.
...I bought an M7400 in Dubai and has been around the world with me many times since. It is without the best laptop I have ever owned. It has been dropped, kicked, sat on, but due it has survived all of it. Any other laptop would have given up long ago. I am always amused to read all the negative feedback on Fujitsu-Siemens' web site. It seems the company's support leaves much to be desired. (at least to home users. I hear the support for corporate is excellent)
OK, everything did not go perfectly. Initially, there were some blue screens in the early days caused by the Intel display drivers, but there problems were solved by updating on Intel's site.
Why am I writing about an old laptop? Because I am yet to see something that can stand up to it.
I am so happy with this laptop, that I now keep it at home permanently, and am...

My New Pride & Joy at Work
Advantages: great colour, fast, takes all weights and sizes of paper
Disadvantages: smells at the moment
...Last year was a good year for me at work, I didn't seem to have to ask for anything, it was all suggested by my boss, new lap top, new widescreen pc for when I was in the office and new colour printer even though the lease hadn't quite ran out on my old one. However there are always ulterior motives to everything, nice new lap top means I can work more from home, new wide screen PC means I can design more in house and nice new printer meant that I could print more of my designs in house as opposed to outsourcing it.
Having two colour printers in the office, both Xerox Phaser's but getting to the stage where they had had there day, I called Pete, my local printer expert to come down and have a chat with me about what options were available to me. His eyes probably lit up when I made that call, as when he tries to contact me, I'm either...

Plenty of style but has it got any "oomph"?
Advantages: High quality prints and scans, great price, loads of features
Disadvantages: Paper snatching, shopping around for best price
...Here's the deal, due to modern trends and consumer demands manufacturers like Epson are now in a situation where they must build compact printers ideal for all purposes; from school projects, to home photography, web printing, poster/flier design and needless to say office documents. All this must be available whilst still offering the option to either rig the hardware to the user's computer or use the printer as a standalone device - achieved in this case via the card reader, PictBridge compatibility, straight from the scanner in a photocopying fashion or from your USB memory stick and this is made possible through a beautiful little LCD screen - approx 6.3cm. The DX7400 fulfils the above mentioned requirements with a degree of finesse which for the price makes it a must buy!
As with any Epson printer you're also safe in...

A must have printer/scanner for anyone!!
Advantages: Energy saving, quiet, cheap, easy to use, professional.
Disadvantages: The software is quite big.
...) technology which recognizes bodies of text and provides editing tools for that text. Epson Easy Photo Fix? is a fantastic piece of software which can help to reduce or eliminate red eye, enhance the color, reduce damage to older photos and remove blemishes.
Because it is compact it is ideal for a small shelf or under your desk at home it measures 179x450x340mm and weights a mere 5800g.
The scanner can copy at a speed of 29 cpm and has a resolution of 1200x2400 DPI
The Epson Stylus DX7400 can be purchased online or in any good specialist store for around £60. This is an absolute bargain considering how well it performs and all of its features. If you are thinking about purchasing a new printer and scanner then I would strongly recommend you consider this one. The power usage is ideal for any environmentally conscious person and the ink...

An all singing, all dancing printer
Advantages: cheap, reliable, good quality print outs, compact
Disadvantages: nothing springs to mind as being a disadvantage as such
...If you are looking to purchase a new printer may I be so bold to suggest that you stop your search now and look no further than the Xerox Phaser 6110? No you say, ok, why I don't I explain why you should listen.
I work from home, and have been using the Phaser 6110 now for 6 months to mainly print of bulk letter projects, colour charts and general pages from the internet. I would say that my printing is probably above average, sometimes printing over 500 pages a day. Since I have owned the printer, it has only needed one routine service and two replacement toner cartridges, so in its favour it has reliability.
This is not all though readers, the Phaser 6110 is both a black/white and colour printer combo that really doesn't take up much space when you consider the size of such gigantic machines at the HP Laserjet 4. It's actual...

Set your phasers to 'Oops, I left the oven on!'
Advantages: Laugh out loud throughout
Disadvantages: A bit more raw and less polished than later performances
....
The one thing I found about Unrepeatable was that, whereas his later filmed performances relied on repeating material he had used before, it used brand new material and thus the comedy was solely reliant on what he was talking about there and then. No correlation, really, to previous performances.
He covers a wide range of topics, perhaps the funniest being where he talks about cats, and his views on Star Trek. The idea that cats are immensely sophisticated and more intellectual than humans is touched upon, particularly compared to dogs, and this section is hilarious. But the Star Trek topic steals the show, with yet another linkless movement into it. The idea of having more interesting phasers which can be set to different settings other than just the stun and kill settings they had is absolutely hilarious, and some of the ideas he comes up...
