...An album of remixed Phil Collins tracks performed by r&b and hip hop artists. Risky, seeing as the man himself as churned out classic after classic and as you can imagine it wasnt well received by, well anyone. I did however purchase because i like Phil Collins and i like hip hop & r&b so i took a chance. I should have spent my money on buying that indoor ten pin bowling set instead. Saying that there is a couple of decent tunes on here but as a whole, not the greatest ive spent my money on Tracks Another Day In Paradise - Ray J & Brandy. The single to come off this album was received quite well, not a bad video and the brother sister duet that everyone wanted to hear. An up to date version but not better than the original. You may find me saying that more often than not Sussudio - Ol Dirty Bastard. Shocking. No resemblence...

Advantages: Calm, mellow, occaisionally chilled album
Disadvantages: One or two poor tracks

...An interesting collection of tracks make up this album. The majority of tracks are slow, with a few being more upbeat. This album isn?t a happy album, mainly due to the fact that it was written at around about the same time as Phil Collins? marriage ended. It is evident that Phil has spent a lot of time on this album and that he is one of a very small amount of artists who like their music to be perfect. Every instrument you hear has been played by Phil, which shows how fluent he is in different types of instrument. THE TRACKS There are 11 tracks on this one disc album. Most have a similar theme to another, that being the standard combination of love and life which we come to expect from Phil Collins. 1 ? Both Sides Of The Story ? An upbeat opener to the album with the trademark Phil Collins drums, this is not a bad song...

Well, I?ll let you into in a widely known secret that isn?t really a secret anyway ? he?s my favourite solo artist! I bet you never expected that! ?..Ok, you saw it coming a mile off. It was the album that introduced me to the music of Phil Collins, although this album is quite a bit different to his previous works, following a more upbeat theme. ...Phil Collins...Hits.. Released 1998..Virgin Records Ltd. This album is one of my top 10 albums and I would play it a lot,I have always liked good old Phil way back when he was drumming with Genesis. THE TRACKS?. 1.Another Day In Paradise..5:22. Great track this but not one of my favourites and one I wouldn?t rate. 2.True Colours..4:33. I really like Phils version of the old Cindi song,I think its because I love this song anyway. 3.Easy Lover..5:03. Don?t like this song,never did!! 4.You Can?t Hurry Love..2:53. This was a great track and I loved the video as well. 5.Two Hearts..3:25. Love this one,from the film Buster,It reminds me of the film and a great little song. 6.I wish It would Rain Down..5:28. Very sad little track but I love these slow type of songs...

...Another Christmas present I was very happy to receive, I love Phil Collins' music but haven't ever got round to buying a CD so to get a set of 3 of his CD's in one was great. I Hadn't heard the majority of the tracks on the album so it was interesting to hear some of his music which was totally new to me. Phil Collins........But Seriously True

Advantages: It makes you feel good.

...But Seriously, (the best Album by Phil Collins in my opinion by far) released in November 1989 and reached number 1 in the album chart, both in the USA and the UK. Its styles include Pop/Rock, Soft Rock and Adult Contemporary. I have been a great fan of Phil Collins since the beginning of time?. well not exactly but I was about 11 and it feels like the beginning of time, to me anyway. Phil got me through my toughest years. Phil's first album

Advantages: His first and probably best.

...This was the first solo album from the singer only previously known for being with Genesis, and a great album it is too! The style of Phil's songs carries through to other albums down the line. Things like a cover track on each album, instrumental tracks playing a part, these things became synonymous with a Phil Collins album. This is the one that started that. Songs like In The Air Tonight, I Missed Again, Thunder & Lightning will go down as classics for ever. The instrumental tracks, Droned and Hand in Hand are pretty powerful too. They have that great mix of instrumental and humming voices in the background supporting the whole. Great stuff. The cover track, there are two actually, but the main one, the cover of John Lennon's Tomorrow Never Knows, is a great cover. It doesn't just carbon copy the song, but Phil gives it...

Phils on form with this one.

Advantages: It's very genuine
Disadvantages: Won't have you frolicking with the joys of spring

...This is Phil Collins' best solo album, in my oh! so humble opinion. I have most of his others, but none of them seem to capture a wonderful confidence quite so much as this one. "I Don't Care Anymore". This is as scornful in tone as the title suggest. In a style and rhythm similar to his 'In The Air Tonight' classic, it would appear that Phil at this point in his life is still harbouring dark thoughts about his marriage break-up. As far as this track goes, it's a definite advantage. Guaranteed to have you scowling while you sing along. "I Cannot Believe It's True". Finger snapping and boppy track as this time he bounces along with his sadness. Clean and crisp drumming and nice horns. "Like China". Like this one a lot. The lyrics and his voice add quite a comic angle to the song, and I think there's a touch of the Peter Gabriel...
