The best picture
Review of Philips 36'' by MARKSY

Advantages: Value for money, best picture
Disadvantages: not the best looking

...The 36" Philips Flat screen TV is in in my opinion the best in the range. I stood in Selfridges and John Lewis for about 2 hours trying to decide which 36 inch had the best picture. The Hitachi was awful, the new Sony was also poor and far too expensive at about £2,500. It came down to the Philips and the Panasonic. The Panasonic looks better, but the Philips is cheaper, and has a clearer and brighter picture. The on screen displays are great, the remote control is not amazing, but it does the job. Definitely the best value for money.... Read review

Philips Go Gear 1GB Audio/Video Player
Review of Philips GoGear SA5115 1 GB by ICE-COLD

Advantages: Easy To Use Menu, High Video Quality
Disadvantages: None

...Philips Go Gear 1GB Audio/Video Player The Philips Go Gear Audio/Video player is a great product with many features. Transferring music to your Philips Go Gear is so simple. First you have to install windows media player on your computer. Now you've installed windows media player you can transfer all of your favourite songs to your Philips Go Gear. As well as transferring music you can also transfer videos to your Go Gear. The video quality is excellent and probably the best feature about this Product. The Go Gear player its self is very light and easy to use. The looks and feel of this Go Gear are also excellent. The design of a product is always very important and this Go Gear looks smashing. The Go Gear is very durable and practically unbreakable. You can also store photos on the Go Gear which is always handy. There is not much you... Read review

Phillips TV
Review of Philips 28PW9525 by makro74

Advantages: Clear beautiful pictures
Disadvantages: Not many

...These Phillips TVs are the best of their kind, in both picture quality and sound. You can connect external sound to it but you would not be able to use Phillip's own sound circuitry to control the volume. Motion and crispness of picture is second to none, with no flicker, it seemlesses plays documentaries at excellent detail. Add to this 100hz technology and possibly Phillips pixel plus, you have an excellent TV which, in my view, lasts and perfoms better than modern LCDs. Nevertheless, it is a great buy, and great to watvh in the comfort of your own home. I am not sure if this model has dynamic contrast which enables the picture to compensated given the light that exist in any given room,... Read review

Advantages: Slimline, great design
Disadvantages: None

...The philips 850 AT is by far the best DVD player i have seen. I have viewed films through other DVD'S and this has the best picture and sound quality. It comes with very easy to use instructions and these also guide you through the easy steps of installation. The remote control is very easy to use and this also described in the instructions. It is a great design one of the best i have seen from philips, it is slimline so fits into any space above your T.V set.Overall i would give the philips 850 AT 9 out of 10.... Read review

Philips C12 isn't that bad!
Review of Philips Savvy C12 by Agewills

Advantages: It's easy to use
Disadvantages: It could have come in different colours

...Most people I know think that the Philips C12 is not a very good phone as it doesn't have any games or special ring tones and that you can't change the covers on it. I own a Philips C12 and i am very pleased with it. It has ok ring tones and is small and light weight. Ok so it doesn' have 'snakes' on it but i find it a very easy to use phone. you can also send text messages with icons on it too so who says it isn't trendy! Overall i think that it is a great phone that is easy to use and not too tarty.... Read review

not strictly philips
Review of Philips by jonlell

Advantages: loud, high fidelity, speaker system
Disadvantages: nonce

...the speakers i refer to are the microsoft digital sound system 80, which are actually made by philips and use technology liscenced from philips (WooX). these 2 satelite speakers and sub are outstanding. i also own some cambridge soundworks speakers and sub and although they are alos excellent, the microsoft system beats them hands down. the quality of sound through the usb sound card is crystal clear and the sub kicks out a real boom. the quality of bass at high volume levels is also excellent with little or no distortion. the software included consists of an equaliser which allows you to tweak sound levels to your hearts content as well as having a number of preset settings.... A Philips DVDR for only £180 - WOW!
Review of Philips DVDR70 by fivish

Advantages: Cost only £180 and its a Philips
Disadvantages: None.

...I bought this DVDR last week to replace my Philips DVD player. The set up is quick. The instructions are of course rubbish on horrible re-cycled paper. But Philips can be e-mailed and they respond quite quickly. The only problem is with the Monitor/TV/DVD buttons. You really have no idea where you are! Apart from that the picture quality is superb. The timer function is almost identical to my Philips VCR as is the layout of the remote. The fast forward is a bit iffy, as a quick press takes you forward a chapter (5 mins on auto chaptering) and you have to hold it down to engage 4X, 8 X and 32X. The other way round would have made more sense. I have daisey chained my Freeview to VCR to Satelite to DVDR to TV Ext2. It all works! The UHF goes into the Freeview then the DVDR and then to the TV. That works too! The DVDR audio o... Read review

Easy on the Iron
Review of Philips GC 3220 EASY CARE by Foxy1982

Advantages: Large water tank and Work Great
Disadvantages: None

...The Philips GC3220 is a steam iron and I have had mine for about a year now. It cost me £40 from The Littlewoods catalogue, However it is available slighty cheaper now from various retail stores. ------------------ How it looks ------------------ The Philips GC3220 is mostly blue plastic with a grey plastic handle and a white plastic base. It has a silver Careeza soleplate. The iron looks very modern and although looks are not all that important when it comes to an iron it does look good. -------------------------- Careeza Soleplate -------------------------- If your wondering what the Careeza Soleplate is it is unique to the Philips range of irons, It is highly durable, scratch resistant, easy to clean and makes ironing a whole lot more easier. ------------- Features ------------- Other than the Careeza Soleplate the Philips GC3220... very proffesional
Review of Philips Savvy C12 by daverodhouse

Advantages: Compact
Disadvantages: Apperance

...The phillips savvy is a very compact and efficient piece of equipment. It is bursting with features and is quick and simple to use. The voice dial feature is particulary useful as mush as it is impressive. The apperance of the phone is probably the down point, as you are unable to change the covers. The battery long is impressive, lasting up to 5 days from 1 hours charging, which would be useful for short holidays. if you are looking for a simple phone for everyday use, then this is the phone for you...
