...I received the Philips 14PT 1556 for my birthday a couple of years ago, so I don?t know exactly how much my parents paid for it, but I believe you can pick one up for about £100. The TV itself has a 14 inch CRT colour screen, weighs 9kg, has mono sound output, an infrared remote control, and a one year warranty. This has proved more than adequate for the use in my bedroom, although because of the lack of stereo and small size I wouldn?t recommend using it as the primary TV in the house. The TV is modelled in metallic anthracite, has a modern curved design, with large functional buttons on the front. It can be tuned either automatically or manually using the supplied remote control or the buttons on the TV itself. nc29 babyblade

Advantages: small, lightweight and good on fuel, perfect for first sportsbike
Disadvantages: parts are getting harder to find, Bike is a import

...for you. nc29 is really easy to work round, and i got the bike serviced with the help of the good old haynes manual. all in all this is a great 1st sportsbike if you have past your test or perfect for a ladys sportbike, cheap to tax, great mpg and handling. out there are very clean models but expect to pay good money for them. also on the 400 class with cbr 400 are the vfr 400 and the rvf 400 which was hondas flag ship 400...

Philips Electric Shaver

Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective
Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean

...and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance. I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin...

Philips 14 inches of pure joy!

Advantages: Relatively cheap, easy to set up / install, great pic and sound quality
Disadvantages: No individual sound control apart from vol

...Having just got rid of the old television I had to purchase a new one and ended up searching for endless hours on the internet and getting hopelessly confused and bogged down with information... Then out of the blue whilst searching on ebay for something entirely different I discovered this the Philips 14 inch television with an in built DVD/CD/MP3 player!   Self-hypnosis for beginners

...- The case of the TV is plastic. Plastic! It feels a bit tacky, although I suppose it's light to carry. The CRT itself is fine, as are the connectors and controls - it's just the surrounds that irritate. It's also worth noting that this is not the usually visible surround of the TV, but the rear section - the screen frame is much nicer :) * Unclear remote buttons - random symbols do not make me a happy boy! - Experiences I have really enjoyed using the Philips 14PT2666. I have a DVD player and a video, so while there's multi-connectivity issues, the TV is the simplest part of the setup. The picture is sharp, especially with high quality DVDs pumping through it, and the sound is superb. The TV itself allows you to tweak the sound to your liking, so that is fun. The ease of use of the TV has made for a headache-less viewing experience...

Panasonic PT AX 100 E

...Updated review. I have been using the Panasonic PT AX 100E as my main TV, in conjunction with a freeview box and a DVD player, for just over a year now. I paid £900 for it then, but the price has dropped and even the improved PT AX200 can now be bought for about £700. The reason for the low rating is because of it's unreliability and Panasonic's inability to fix it when it went wrong, as described below. In all other respects it is a very good projector. The picture quality is extremely good in a dark room and quite watchable during the day even with the curtains open for all but the darkest movies. In bright conditions the colours can become a little washed-out although there are various viewing options on the remote control to compensate a little. For some very dark films however you should wait until the room can be blacked out...

...I bought this trimmer around a month ago after the battery in my old trimmer (also Philips) gave up. As I'd been happy with Philips previously I looked around and found that the choice was basically QT4020 or QT4045. At first I was somewhat skeptical about the idea of having a vacuum trimmer, but based on positive reviews I thought I'd give it a try. The idea also appealed to my other half who for some reason isn't a fan of finding the toilet seat covered in beard trimmings so I ordered from Amazon for £27.14. First impression is that unit is noticeably larger than my previous model, perhaps due to the added vacuum unit, but it's still perfectly manueverable.
