Keep trim with less pain.

Advantages: Suited for wet and dry shaving; shaves ALL areas; pleasant shave.

Philips Electric Shaver

Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective
Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean

...and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance. I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin...

...The bodygroom TT2022 really is not worth buying unless you only plan on trimming longer hairs. The guards on either side prevent the shaver from actually shaving the body closely leaving more of a stubbly look than a clean shaven look. It would be much better to just invest in some cheaper razors which would do a better job than this. The battery life is ok and it looks great, but ultimatley it doesn't do the job it should and is less convenient than using a razor in the shower. the guards are useful for under the arms or on the legs but arent really that effective in cutting hairs. I imagine it can be picked up cheaply from ebay but ultimately you would be better served using a mach3 or quattro for your chest....

Great idea, awful execution. Not a £50 trimmer.

Advantages: Nice design, great charger, good cutting ability
Disadvantages: Guard attachment design renders product useless

A short while after trying to change one of the guards I was left with the catches broken off the clip that holds the trimmer/shaver head in place rendering the product useless. Philips may as well have welded the guards onto the shaver head because there is virtually no way of removing them without breaking at least one part of the shaver. All in all it's a great product that is crippled by a very, very stupid design flaw, rendering it useless. Avoid unless they alter the design to be more user friendly....
