...From the set off I must warn you that this opinion will be of little use to the more technically minded reader, I am ciao?s most techno phobic member and the fact that I am attempting to write a review on a piece of computer hardware is a wonder in itself. Like most computer illiterates I thought my 17? standard type monitor was the canines dangly bits, it was large enough to read web pages easily and large enough to make game playing enjoyable and easy on the eye but the down side was the bulkiness of the thing, it took up loads of room on my desk, was heavy and gathered dust quicker than a Bjork CD in the Jimblob household. Enter the rather sexy, and ultimately satisfying Philips Brilliance 180 P2 LCD 18.1? flat screen monitor. ...I received my Philips 200W6CS yesterday and am pretty happy with it so far, Having a widescreen does make quite a difference to me. The colours seem set more vibrant on this but apart from them being smaller there is really no real difference in the clarity of them compared to the Videoseven screen updated from. I have tested the gaming performance and it is much improved on Freedom Force there is only a little loss of focus if you move the mouse from one side of the screen to another across buildings but it does not blur colours or blacks like before, with Prince of Persia WW it's much improved too, Before the Prince had a black afterglow around him now there is nothing I can see. The monitor does have the much talked about Backlight bleeding issue as on the Dell monitors (in all four corners when screen is displaying black...

Philips SoundMachine AZ102N - The Soundmaster!

Advantages: Good quality chassis, good sound quality, does everything for the price, looks nice.
Disadvantages: Inbuilt handle could have been better, silver version better than white -preference.

Paying a quick visit to my local Bennets I picked up the AZ102N, a CD/Radio by Dutch manfacturers Philips. Because I wanted something cheap and cheerful that would be subject to a few knocks I picked up Bennet's own brand £19.99 stereo which had unfortunately sold out, this was the next cheapest thing but I am glad I picked a reputable brand because it fulfills all of my needs as a radio and CD player. It was very well packaged with a power cable, instruction manual and cardboard packaging (very environmentally conscious there). Philips Aluminium quality juicer

Advantages: Healthy living, quick simple design
Disadvantages: blade removal, a little bulky

...Excellent item, it extracts all the juice you can get. However the blade/filter section can be difficult to remove when it has been used. The pulp is excellent for composting because it is reduced to very fine matter that can be broken down very easily. The whole item is generally easy to clean and is stable when in use. Waste container is easy to empty and collection jug is easy to clean too. The aluminium finish is very chic, looking good in your kitchen. I particularly like the rubber sucker feet on the juicer, these prevent the juicer sliding on your work top. Sony Mr-v150 headphones review.

...Recently bought myself a pair of sony mdv150 head phones. I picked them up in tescos costing 12 pounds. In the past I have personaly owned about 25 pairs of head phones ranging from the very cheap to the quite expensive. These small light weight head phones are miles ahead of any of the other cheap head phones i Have tried and can even hold their own amongst the mid range ones i have used personaly. Now obviously these are not the worlds greatest headphones but for the price asked there is just no comparison in my honest opinion, they weight next to nothing are comfortable in prolonged use and are so versatile they are big enough to use for bedroom deejaying and small enough to wear while walking the streets without looking like a muppet. And for camping, I recently had a small motorbike, a full size BBQ, our tent, sleeping bags, wood for the fire, and 3 large ice boxes in the back along with a number of other small bits and pieces essential for camping.
