Philips 190S7
Advantages: Great Quality, Suited to almost all uses, Space saving
Disadvantages: Initial retail price
...an intgrated power supply rather than an annoying external box.
As well as an auto adjust button on the monitor itself, Phillips provide you with Smartcontrol/FPadjust software to 'perfect' the image within windows.
Overall i would recommend this monitor to potential buyers, especially now the price has been reduced (or you can get a deal).
I have found this a reliable piece of kit for daily standard tasks, and heavy gaming alike....

Brilliant brilliance
Advantages: LCD quality, flat screen, style, pivot ability
Disadvantages: None
...From the set off I must warn you that this opinion will be of little use to the more technically minded reader, I am ciao?s most techno phobic member and the fact that I am attempting to write a review on a piece of computer hardware is a wonder in itself.
Like most computer illiterates I thought my 17? standard type monitor was the canines dangly bits, it was large enough to read web pages easily and large enough to make game playing enjoyable and easy on the eye but the down side was the bulkiness of the thing, it took up loads of room on my desk, was heavy and gathered dust quicker than a Bjork CD in the Jimblob household.
Enter the rather sexy, and ultimately satisfying Philips Brilliance 180 P2 LCD 18.1? flat screen monitor.
My pal Helmet had actually bought one a few weeks ago and after seeing it my desire to have one...

Philips Brilliance 200W6CS
Advantages: Size
Disadvantages: cost
...I received my Philips 200W6CS yesterday and am pretty happy with it so far, Having a widescreen does make quite a difference to me. The colours seem set more vibrant on this but apart from them being smaller there is really no real difference in the clarity of them compared to the Videoseven screen updated from.
I have tested the gaming performance and it is much improved on Freedom Force there is only a little loss of focus if you move the mouse from one side of the screen to another across buildings but it does not blur colours or blacks like before, with Prince of Persia WW it's much improved too, Before the Prince had a black afterglow around him now there is nothing I can see.
The monitor does have the much talked about Backlight bleeding issue as on the Dell monitors (in all four corners when screen is displaying black...

Brilliance in a flat screen
Advantages: Great quality, great max resolution, brilliant
Disadvantages: Pricetag is a little heavy
...For quite a while i've been looking around casually, wanting to upgrade my computer. I got onto ebay (as you do) and bought a grand selection of graphics cards sound cards, RAM and a new Harddrive.
My next thought was, this isn't going to make my computer any better looking, with that breeze block as a screen.
This is when i first thought about buyin a flatscreen, and believe it or not, i bought this not because i knew much about it, but because of its name.
Possibly its best selling point Phillips BRILLIANCE. You don't get much wittier than that.
Now, onwards to its functionality.
Resolution and clearness
The highest around for a reasonable price. The resolution goes higher than any current game requires and certainly high enough for anybody wanting a quality display. Because of this high resolution, the screen is pixel...

Canon Pixma MP190 Good value, decent Printer
Advantages: Very good price, good print quality
Disadvantages: Does not come with USB cable to connect to computer.
...I have just bought and finished installing this printer, so I have decided to share my views on it. I bought it at the local Tesco Extra, after some research I found that they offered it at the lowest price, at £30. I also got 10% as they only had the display one left in store. However, as I bought it in store I did not get free delivery and had to carry it the 2 miles home, something I wont recommend if your arms get tired easily.
It comes in a large box, and is well packaged so it does not rattle about in the box. You are provided with the Pixma MP190 printer, 2 ink cartridges (one black and one colour), setup CD-ROM, Printed documents and a power cord. You will need to buy a separate USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC, something I found out to my annoyance after carrying it all the way home and excited to get...

Olympus FE-190- trustworthy but better money to be spent
Advantages: easy to use, durable, good quality photos
Disadvantages: expensive for the mega-pixel provided.
...I received the olympus FE-190 2 years back for christmas. At the time it was a very good digital camera, with a 6.3 mega pixel and the fetures to change the tones, with different settings, like portrait, lanscape and night mode. It also has the ability to film short movies.
However at this time, and looking at the price the olympus FE-190 is selling for, i would not recommend it. Yes olympus is a very well known and loyal brand, but the FE-190 is only a 6.3 megapixel, and when the flash is needed, the battery has only roughly around 4 hours photographing time.
Normally when there is natural lighting, the FE-190 takes crisp and lovely pictures, makes them more vibrant and seemingly full of life, which is ideal for family photos and to make memorable pictures. However in artificial lighting, i beg to differ, the lighting turns...

Philips SoundMachine AZ102N - The Soundmaster!
Advantages: Good quality chassis, good sound quality, does everything for the price, looks nice.
Disadvantages: Inbuilt handle could have been better, silver version better than white -preference.
...I needed something to listen to while I worked at home, in the garden and in the office and I needed it quick. Paying a quick visit to my local Bennets I picked up the AZ102N, a CD/Radio by Dutch manfacturers Philips.
Because I wanted something cheap and cheerful that would be subject to a few knocks I picked up Bennet's own brand £19.99 stereo which had unfortunately sold out, this was the next cheapest thing but I am glad I picked a reputable brand because it fulfills all of my needs as a radio and CD player.
It was very well packaged with a power cable, instruction manual and cardboard packaging (very environmentally conscious there). The picture for this review is silver, mine is light blue and white which does not help with dust or grime. I feel the silver version would have hidden day to day scratches and dust better.
The stereo...

Personal review of the Philips 42PFL7404H
Advantages: Slimmer and lighter than many LCD TVs of similar size.
Disadvantages: None come to mind.
...This is an excellent example of Philips ingenuity. If you are about to consider changing to a larger screen size, then this 42' screen is well worth a closer look. It has a superb contrast ratio, which really improves the definition of the darkest and lightest images and displays striking colours that are lifelike and vibrant. The ease of installation is also a great benefit, whereby most settings can be achieved through a simple automatic process. Should you also be thinking of wall mounting this receiver, then you will be pleased to know that this particular model is thinner than many TV's currently available and also a lot lighter. The remote control has been well thought out with a special home button, which enables easy selection of external devices, like satellite boxes, digital receivers, DVD players and recorders or PC...
