Phillips 1GB MP3 PLayer

Advantages: Small, sleek, light weight and durable.
Disadvantages: Doesn't resume and could use a clip for heavier activites.

...'ll need to charge it up for quite a while to get the full usage out of the battery. I'd definately say this item is worth the money you pay and good for some one who is wanting to purchase their first mp3 player. The only things i would say about this item are it doesn't resume from the last song when you turn it off, although i have found if you pause the player first and then turn it off once you come back to turning it on again it will resume from the beginning of the last song you were listening to. And lastly it could use a clip on the back so you can secure it to your clothes. This would really help when doing exercise, but i have found that for less strenuous activities you can just slip it into a pocket. Basicly in my experience an all round great device and nice looking to....

Phillips Gogear 512mb mp3 player

Advantages: charge time, simple to use, nimble.
Disadvantages: 16 hours of play only possible with large and annoying battery pack!

At the time the mobile phone MP3 players were pointless due to lack of space, being bulky, and basically rubbish quality meant a portable MP3 player for any music listener was a must. Looking around, there's always going to be the cheap gadgets on the market. I try and stay away for them because, even if they do what it says on the box, the actual quality of the amp on them is usually very bad quality, and they usually have poor battery life, which means charging them for longer than you're actually listening to them. However, Philips have a good reputation, so when the Philips GoGear 512MB Player came on at a good price, I thought why not? And I haven't looked back. ...This is a stylish looking multi-function mp3 player that is available at a great price compared to other mp3 players that have a 1GB storage capacity. Some people may shy away from this mp3 player as the brand name doesn't have the same kudos as the ipod shuffle or some other players but the performance offered by this player means that the lack of a brand name shouldn't prevent anyone purchasing it. The sound quality is good and the playing time of 12 hours is good in comparison to some other players. The player also offers some other good features such as FM radio and voice recorder function so this is a versatile and competent mp3 player that is good value for money and able to compete side by side with the Creative mp3 player and the Ipod shuffle....

Very useful for transferring files from computer to computer and for listening to your favourite tracks on the move. With 1 GB of storage you can definitely fit most of what you want onto this little thing. Black coloured with silver buttons and border. Sony Walkman NWZ-B133B 1GB mp3 player Review.

Advantages: Solid buttons, small and good looking, quick USB charge, recording feature.
Disadvantages: Easy to damage front glass, USB charge makes it hard to use without access to PC.

...-stop listening to music. It uses USB charging, so it's an advantage if you don't have time or money to buy batteries but a big pain if you're in some place without access to PC. Charging is really fast, sometimes I charge for like 5-10 minutes and its last for few hours. For me the battery is great. Memory is 1GB it holds about 250 songs for this price it?s a fair size. Now the features: FM radio, unfortunately I don't use it so I can't say is it good or not. Recording is really good, you can chose from Low, Medium and High quality the last is seriously a good quality, I use recording for my band rehearsals so later on I can listen to it again and study it.
