...The Philips SPC 200N PC Webcam, I only recommend it as a budget camera! The Camera's User guide is VERY easy to follow - only two pages of instruction in each of 8 languages! Installation takes minutes. Camera (about 4X6X8 cm and as light as a feather) plugs into a USB so does not require an extra power supply. It is very robust, but being so light it tends to be dragged to the side by the weight of its own wire! Flat base so cannot be mounted onto a laptop or speakers. Looks just like the image on the box? Picture quality is painfully bad, and cannot cope with ANY movement, but most budget webcams are like that? Microphone not inbuilt but a massive one you have to keep right in front of your moth is included. Trust Webcam - Great for the price!

Advantages: The price of the product is great at £9.99
Disadvantages: Adjusting the focus is difficult and I broke the headphones as there werent clear instructions

...I first brought this product for £9.99 in a somerfield store when thier new Robert Dyas section was built. I believed that I had a good bargain because webcams appear to be all the range these days and it seems I was right. After taking the webcam out of the box, I installed it on my PC and away I went. The webcam focuses well and the settings can be adjusted by using the softwares easy to use interface. If you require more focusing there is also a dial on the face of the webcam whichs allows you to do so. To show that the webcam is turned on, A little blue light is positioned just below the lens. Also with this webcam there were a pair of headphones, Which although looked good at first, happened to break after I tried putting them on. Perhaps clearer instructions on the box or in the manual may have prevented the disaster from happening...

Philips Electric Shaver

Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective

This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance. I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features.
