...The Philips SPC 200N PC Webcam, I only recommend it as a budget camera! The Camera's User guide is VERY easy to follow - only two pages of instruction in each of 8 languages! Installation takes minutes. Camera (about 4X6X8 cm and as light as a feather) plugs into a USB so does not require an extra power supply. It is very robust, but being so light it tends to be dragged to the side by the weight of its own wire! Flat base so cannot be mounted onto a laptop or speakers. Looks just like the image on the box? Picture quality is painfully bad, and cannot cope with ANY movement, but most budget webcams are like that? Microphone not inbuilt but a massive one you have to keep right in front of your moth is included. NC10 Review

Advantages: Very good battery life (5-6 hours), large keyboard for a netbook and nice size screen at 10.2 inch
Disadvantages: Touch Pad is fairly small

...I bought this netbook around 3 months ago from currys for 299.99, which for a samsung laptop is a good price. The screen is much larger than most of the other netbooks which are in the same price range, the processor is not light at 1.6 ghz but it is fast enough for browsing the internet, playing some old games and watching movies. Also 1 gig of ram really helps the speed, however i would not recommend installing vista. The lid of the laptop is very shiny and produces a nice finish which you would expect from a Samsung laptop. Samsung NC10 Review

Advantages: Good battery life, nice screen, near enough a full size keyboard

...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. Samsung NC10 Black netbook a lightweight and excellent netbook

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. Still a good netbook

Advantages: Good ergonomics, rugged, good battery life, matte screen
Disadvantages: Touchpad is a bit small and doesn't have separate buttons

...is not an issue at all, as contrast is good enough to make text readable. The small resolution(1024x600)however, makes coding on the NC10 pretty difficult. This became less of an issue as I started using a small font and coding in Python, a very dense language. There's one thing I love about the NC10's screen: it's matte. I just can't stand reflections on my screen. * The battery was top notch when I bought the NC10. Seven hours out of a 6-cell battery? Wow. Nowadays, this is standard on most good netbooks. ...I have just purchased a Samsung NC20 from Amazon. I originally planned on getting the NC10 after reading lots of fantastic reviews, but I was apprehensive about the size, being approx 10" screen. Anyway I heard about the NC20, and after seeing a HP notebook of the same size, I decided to wait for that instead... Amazon have had the white version in stock for a few weeks, but the Black one only came in this week. Customer service was excellent, I ordered on Wed evening, but due to a problem with my card, the order only went through at 6.30pm on Thursday...it was then delivered at 8.30am on Friday!!! That's what I call express service! The cost was about £375, so it's not the cheapest on the market, but the reviews of the NC10 swayed me in spending a little extra. Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable
Disadvantages: Not very good accessories, Picks up Fingerprints, Weird button under touchpad

...is quite usable though and even has the scrolling function down the right side by sliding your finger down the right. It also has a built-in webcam (and microphone). These can be used with programs like Skype or MSN. I think the picture quality of the webcam is excellent. With the Asus Eee PC, everything looks a bit yellow, even when there?s sufficient lighting but the camera on the NC10 has really exceeded my expectations, even if it is a feature I don?t use much! CONNECTIVY Wireless is built in but only with the 54G standard, which I think is a slight disappointment as they could have put in a Wireless N network card. A Very Surprising, Hi-Spec NetBook

Advantages: Good styling, great battery, high performance
Disadvantages: Poor speakers, no HDMI, no real carry case included.

The HDMI is very apealling, however, after 6 months of ownership I can honestly say that with a VGA enabled TV and two PC monitors in the house I have connected my NC10 to them maybe 4 times with more than adequate results, so again decide whether this is a feature you are likely to use, and if so whether you need the difference between the standard VGA and HDMI before going spec happy.
