Great, but not yet perfect.

Disadvantages: Bad clipper design, expensive and not yet perfect.

...This is a good shaver, but at the price, it need to be more than good. And when it come to the clipper, I'm sorry, but the guy who designed the shaver didn't tried his creation before putting it on the market. As the clipper doesn't came out, the shaver head hide the clipper: So you can't see what you are clipping. Not really nice for precision shaving. And yes, you could do precision shaving with this clipper as it's a really small one. Worst than that, when it come to the mustache, the shaver head toutch your nose, so it's hard to use it. Good shaver, but bad clipper design: it shoud be more accessible. The head movement is smooth and great, also really easy to clean. Really good shave, but not portable

Advantages: Close, quick, comfortable, cleaning + lubing pod
Disadvantages: Not practicle for travelling, ongoing consumable costs

...On one hand, I am very impressed with this shaver. The technology in the shaving unit is outstanding, there are three sets of slots on each head, and each head can pivot freely, which helps it give a really quick and close shave, picking up almost all stubble with a few passes. It does very well on the neck and jawbone as well, I am satisfied with the shaving performance. Also note that the shaving action is very regular and comfortable, it's never pulled a hair or nicked a lip. ...Remember those brainless yet enjoyable eighties action fests that involved pointing and firing guns that never ran out of ammo and cars that ramdomly exploded when they got shot up or crashed? Yes? No? Approaching toward the ninties we still had dumb action flicks but we also had more sophisticated films out there to view and enjoy. Slowly but surely, the action flick where one seemingly bulletproof hero up against hundreds of trained evil badmen dried up and were replaced with action films with a little more substance in the storyline. In a sea of current slasher films and melodramas screaming for oscar recognition, it's a relief to see the more action driven cliched ventures again. Knee Replacement Surgery.

Advantages: Gives you a new lease of life free from chronic pain.
Disadvantages: The implants may need replacing meaning more surgery.

...First of all I am surprised this category has not been filled and as I have actually had Knee Replacement surgery more or less a year ago now, they took it back when I had my leg amputated but I did have it done. Me being me of course I thought what the heck I am resting in hospital after my Hip Replacement so what better time and place is there for me to write some help and advice for anyone else facing this kind of surgery. I have already written about my knee in a previous review but this one is very different I assure you. Very disappointing

Advantages: Looks, build quality, battery life, charge time
Disadvantages: Unaccaptable shaving performance, no mains power option, poor value

...much overlapping of skin to get an even remotely acceptable shave that it can also cause irritation. This unit replaced my three year old Philishave which cost me about £40, and was the cheapest model that could be powered by mains or battery. I thought this was a superb bit of kit which really did give near wet-shave closeness, never irritated and was well put together. When the heads finally wore out, it didn't even occur to me to try anything other than a new Philishave. Sadly, this one just doesn't live up to the price, design, or the historic performance of the brand. It's also poor that a shaver at this price and market position can't be used on mains power, although in fairness, the charge time is short, and the battery life is excellent.
