...I recently had to purchase a set of CD-R's to produce some CD's, for legal reasons I should point out!! So I brought a set of the 'XQ' version, along with the 'Q' version produced by Philips. Made in Germany, the 'blurb' on the packaging states: 'For use with all Digital Audio CD-Recorders. Philips CD-R Q/XQ offer high quality, digital audio performance.' But do they really offer high quality?? Well, the majority of the CDs were used to burn mp3's, so that would partly rely on the quality of the mp3's more than anything, although after listening to them via the CD, there were absolutely no apparently signs of the quality of the songs having faded after being placed on the CD. Occasionally, I find that some CD-R's don't work when being written on, possibly because of the speed of my computer drive, but thankfully not one...

Appearance The DVD player is very compact and attractive. It has a white outer shell and a black interior fascia. There is a flip up drawer on the bottom half where you put the DVDs in, which is opened by sliding the button on the front panel. It is smart and modern enough to be confident to use it on the train or in public generally. Price I paid £70.00 for the player a few months ago, but I strongly advise other to shop around as I understand it can not be bought for around £50.00. It is well worth either price in my opinion. Sony PSP

Advantages: Great portable media player. Ideal for Games & Movies
Disadvantages: Not so good as an MP3 player as a little bulky.

...This is an ideal portable console/MP3 Player and MP4 Player for all. Since having the PSP I no longer find myself bored whilst on the train to work. I generally use it for gaming and watching movies. The gameplay/graphics are awesome for such a small device. The added bonus of the PSP is that you can switch it off and when you switch it back on again it allows you to play where you left off even if this is half way through a football match. As for movie capability, this is straight forward. As long as you have a large enough memory card, you can load MP4 files and watch movies on the go with the PSP. I don't really use the PSP as an MP3 player as it's a little too bulky for the pocket. I don't think this is the main benefit of the PSP but the option's there. The PSP Slim does not have a touch screen. it is essentially the old PSP with a few a few minor changes.These are the changes: It can store game data in the cache so the PSP doesn't consistently have to access the UMD, which speeds up load times. ...OK OK OK. How can I review a product that hasn't been released in the UK? I bought it in Japan, I'm lucky - I know. Lots of people want the Sony PSP. I can see why! There is SO MUCH you can do with the Sony PSP - it's quite unbelievable. My unit is in Japanese - but I'm fortunate to be able to read and understand Japanese - so I can provide an accurate review. ...The PSP was brought as a birthday present, I?m not an Avid gamer and didn?t really intend to become one, So it was without much enthusiasm I opened the box. I was soon gripped though on playing with the buttons and the games that came with it, Pretty soon the PSP never left my hands, I found it easy to use and all the functions were simple, even for someone as simple as me. The battery life on my PSP was fantastic and it kept me entertained for many hours on long journeys, I found the DVD Quality to be good although the DVDs themselves can be slightly pricey. I owned the PSP For 2 weeks before I found any problems with it, I was in the middle of a standard game, and it stopped working, It came up with an error saying the Disc could not be read. Nothing worked to fix it, It hadn?t been dropped or anything - I was mighty disappointed...
