...*Introduction* As you may, or may not, know both my family and I are great fans of anything made by Philips. We appreciate the quality and durability of all of the products they provide. I particularly like the styling and design of their product range. They are well planned and then well put together using top quality machines and materials. I feel that you can always rely on Philips to provide you with all that you need in a product. *Radio Quality* The radio isn't fantastic, but it certainly does the job. It is dualband, so it recieves the FM/AM frequencies. It is not really suited for music, but if you like to wake up, or go to sleep, to a talk show then this radio is good enough for that. Advantages: Great portable media player. Ideal for Games & Movies

...This is an ideal portable console/MP3 Player and MP4 Player for all. Since having the PSP I no longer find myself bored whilst on the train to work. I generally use it for gaming and watching movies. The gameplay/graphics are awesome for such a small device. The added bonus of the PSP is that you can switch it off and when you switch it back on again it allows you to play where you left off even if this is half way through a football match. As for movie capability, this is straight forward. As long as you have a large enough memory card, you can load MP4 files and watch movies on the go with the PSP. I don't really use the PSP as an MP3 player as it's a little too bulky for the pocket. I don't think this is the main benefit of the PSP but the option's there. The PSP Slim does not have a touch screen. it is essentially the old PSP with a few a few minor changes.These are the changes: It can store game data in the cache so the PSP doesn't consistently have to access the UMD, which speeds up load times. The UMD drive is no longer the springloaded type, and is now like a drawer. The memory stick panel is now a pull-out area. The Slim has video out, and and transmit video to a TV. Advantages: The look. The portability. The games. The films. The accessories. Pretty much the whole package.

...OK OK OK. How can I review a product that hasn't been released in the UK? I bought it in Japan, I'm lucky - I know. Lots of people want the Sony PSP. I can see why! There is SO MUCH you can do with the Sony PSP - it's quite unbelievable. My unit is in Japanese - but I'm fortunate to be able to read and understand Japanese - so I can provide an accurate review. When i recived my play station portable in the post i wasn't sure whether or not it would satisfy expetation, but IT BLEW ME AWAY with all the games, movies, music, photos and INTERNET. At first i just played on the games completing them as normal but then internet came into the equation and gaming as i knew it changed forever.
