Appearance The DVD player is very compact and attractive. It has a white outer shell and a black interior fascia. There is a flip up drawer on the bottom half where you put the DVDs in, which is opened by sliding the button on the front panel. It is smart and modern enough to be confident to use it on the train or in public generally. Price I paid £70.00 for the player a few months ago, but I strongly advise other to shop around as I understand it can not be bought for around £50.00. It is well worth either price in my opinion. Philips DVP 3120 - nice little DVD player

...I bought the DVP 3120 because I needed a new DVD player and this one was recommended by a friend. Obviously I wanted a good quality one (who doesn?t?) and did not want to pay too much for it. After six month usage I can honestly say I am very satisfied. This was a good buy. I do have a lot of space at home. ...I was looking for a dvd player to take while travelling abroad. The philips DCP range was actually quite new and had only been out a couple of months. In addition this bay lets the IPOD classic integrate as part of the unit and is flush so you can't tell. when you are not using the IPOD docking you can store the remote there. The remote is very handy and perfectly sized with the same functions as you would have in a normal DVD player The quality is as good as any normal TV/dvd combo so there is no compromise on the viewing experience. I spent all my time in airport watching my home tv shows. The speakers are really good too and do not compromise the viewing experience at all It is a fantastic unit for travelling and I highly rate it, is tough enough to take knocks while travelling but treat with care...

Not only you can you watch DVD in HD but also you can pause live TV, record it on its 160 gig hard drive and store photos and videos. For the price I feel it was a little too much. I paid £140 at Sainsbury. But looing at sources you can get it for much less (£80 - £100) I would reconmend this product to anyone who likes whatching TV and also likes whatching DVDs.
