Advantages: Light, pretty and not overly expensive. Disadvantages: The scent can wear off quite quickly.
...Philosophy products are amazing and I doubt anyone would disagree, although expensive they smell incredible and do exactly what they're meant to.
Amazing Grace has been a favourite scent of mine for a while, ever since I tried the body lotion. My boyfriend suprised me with the perfume and I was hooked.
It is the ultimate, english rose, sunny day out in the park kinda scent. Light and breezy with just enough floral notes to make people ask what you're wearing. It smells like you're walking through a field of flowers without being disgustingly sweet. In short it is perfect. Also ideal if like me, you dont want to smell like every other woman sauntering down the high street!
The bottle is also conveniently small enough to slip into your handbag should you need a top up throughout the day!...
Advantages: leaves skin smooth and soft Disadvantages: too expensive, inspecific, packaging could be improved
...RRP: from £18/$22 for 475ml/16oz

...Veet
I am writing a review on the product Veet In shower hair removal cream.
The Packaging
Veet Use a bright pink /green and white coloring on the tube with blue and white text.
On the front there is the very large logo, which takes up half the tube, and below it says:
In Shower Hair removal cream for normal skin. Includes Lotus milk and Jasmine. 150 ml.
On the back of the tube there is all the precautions on using the product and contact information.
The smell
Its got a really nice smell ? I know some of them hair removal creams have bad smells but this one is really fresh.
What I think of the product.
Ever since I seen the advertisement on TV that you can get a cream you can wear in the shower I couldn?t wait to get it and try it out. So today off I went and purchased the 150 ml tube and sponge for 4...
Advantages: Softens skin and smells nice Disadvantages: None
...Radox ones, especially the pretty cream ones.
Once again wandering through the beauty section at Tesco I spotted at the end of the shelves an offer on Radox and so choose one for men and a new one for me, Radox Soften - a herbal showercream to pamper my skin.
A clear plastic bottle reveals the pretty pale green cream, the top is shaped and has a white hook, which I rarely use as I leave the bottle sitting on the bath ledge by the tap. On the front is a picture of the spikes of an Aloe Vera plant and the name Radox, but no sign of the cucumber it says it contains. On the back is the quantity - 250mls and information that the bottle is recyclable, but to remove the cap first.
It suggests stepping into a steamy shower and treating your skin with a dollop of aloe and cucumber cream. Aloe Vera is good for all sorts of things, like...
Advantages: Pleasant smell. Disadvantages: Expensive.
...great on the bubbles!
~ As a shower gel
I use the flip top lid to dispense the product when using it as a shower gel. Only a small amount is needed on a flannel or sponge to create a good lather. It cleans my skin well, leaving a refreshing scent on my skin.
~ As a shampoo
Having very frizzy hair I tend to use hair care products that are specific to my hair type. However for the purposes of this review, I have used this as a shampoo. A great lather is created with quite a small amount. It cleans my hair very well, again leaving a lovely fresh smell to it. On the downside, it isn?t very nourishing to my dry, coarse hair and isn?t great for me. I can, however see the advantages of having a shampoo and shower gel in 1, if you have got manageable hair that doesn?t need conditioners etc.

...I'm a big fan of the Palmolive products in general as I use their milk and honey wash in the shower and the aquarium hand wash (definietly check this out if you have kids, they'll love it) so when I saw the new Palmolive Pure Cashmere Shower Creme I decided to give it a try.
I found them while looking for the milk and honey in Sainsburys and they were the same price, £1.89 for a 300ml bottle so I bought one.
The marketing of this cashmere shower creme is aimed at people with really dry skin. a sample line of their marketing states, "as you lather your skin, its luxurious milk formulation envelops you in softness leaving you feeling as it you're wrapped up in the finest cashmere. The cashmere in the title definitely gives the notion of silk/quality/expensiveness/luxury, which is nice.
I used it for the first time a few weeks...
Advantages: Value for money, soothing, hair free. Disadvantages: Some of the cream comes of in the shower.
...When I was 11 I started using razors, but the hair on my legs grew back thick, prickly and dark and my skin was dry. About a year later I started using gels and I spent up to £20 on the gels but none of them showed the results that I wanted. I then went on to foams and waxing, but the foams didn't work and waxing was far too painful for my liking and I ended up with red patches on my legs. By then I was dissapointed as I had spent over £70 altogether on endless options of hair removal which didn't work. For a year I gave up and let the hairs on my legs grow and grow. (You can probably imagine what the hairs on my legs were like.. thick, dark, stubbly and like beard hairs. Urgh) But then I saw an advert on the TV advertising Veet in-showercream, but I ignored it. I had tried all of these hair removal creams and they were a load...
Advantages: Leaves legs smooth and takes a few days before needing to reapply Disadvantages: Can be a bit pricey.
...I am always looking for an alternative to shaving my legs- apart from letting them grow and get really hairy, So after seeing many adverts on t.v for the 'veet in shower hair removal cream' I decided it was time to get some and give it a go.
I took a trip into town last weekend and found the Veet for £3.00 for 150ml in Ethel Austins, the price seemed quite reasonable to me as it was almost £6.00 at the supermarket.
Later on that day I decided it was time to give it go, It comes in a blister pack which is quite easy to open,so I remove the tube of cream and little sponge-I'm now ready to start attacking my legs.
Off comes the lid and mmm it has a lovely floral smell and onto my legs it goes-Blinking heck the cream is freezing cold but is very easy to apply with the sponge, all I need to do now is stand and stare at the shower...
Advantages: Smells devine, from a well known manufacturer. Disadvantages: Weird colour and may not be around for long as is a special edition
...Review of Original Source 'Winter Vanilla, Milk and Cocoa ShowerCream'
The Product
This Vanilla, milk and cocoa showercream is the Winter 2008 special edition from Original Source. Being the cheapskate that I am, I purchased this just after Christmas when the supermarket was reducing their winter ranges. It has been sat in the back of the bathroom cabinet ever since and only came to light recently. As far as I recall, I paid in the region of 75p for my bottle of showercream, I believe that the full price was around £1.50.
Packaging, Appearance and Scent
The showercream is presented in a trapeze shaped, opaque plastic bottle with a black flip open cap. The cap is located at the bottom of the package and doubles as a stand for the shower gel. The container design means that the last drops are fairly easy to get out...
Advantages: Nice peachy smell, thick cream Disadvantages: Difficult to open cap.
...Recently every time I have gone shopping in Sainsbury's they seem to have an offer on Radox products. Never one to miss a bargain I bought two radox shower products on a buy one get one free offer. I have already reviewed one of them which was a shower gel but this one is a showercream.
The Cost
For a 250ml bottle it costs around £1.79. I bought mine on a BOGOF offer so it worked out at around 90p a bottle which I thought was good value.
The Bottle
The ShowerCream comes in a slimline plastic bottle with a moveable hook to allow you to hang it in the shower. The bottle is clear so you can tell when its about to run out and you need to buy some more (a handy feature in my opinion).
The Smell
=
It's peachy and its quite a strong smell of peaches so if that isn't your cup of tea then...
