..., you will never have seen an eating place like this before. Don't wear a tie , they will cut it off and keep it as their prize. 2lb of Steak for about $15. Cowboys all around , Gunfights , need I say more. Places to Shop ; Scottsdale :- A couple of huge shopping malls , the size of Merry Hill , Metro Centre to give you a flavour. Arizona Mills :- Outlet Centre. The size of which I have only seen in Las Vegas (Belz Outlet Centre). Excellent heavily discounted shopping. Places to Stay ; Too many to mention , from cheapies to mega resorts in Scottsdale. Go on , next time you visit California or Nevada , visit Phoenix and Tucson (see note on that City also)...

Review of Phoenix (Arizona)

Touring Arizona.

Advantages: A large state full of so many interesting places where hot and sunny weather is virtually guaranteed.r
Disadvantages: Too much to see unless you have 3 weeks to spare.

...Nugget or the magnificent Ramada Express will cost around $15 for a room, all the hotel/casinos are similar to Vegas but a fraction of the price. A river taxi on the Colorado River costs around $3. Laughlin is a small place but does make an ideal and inexpensive base to explore the surrounding areas. Cross over the Colorado at the end of Casino Drive, and hey presto! - you are now in Arizona, Bull Head City to be precise. Travel through this desert oasis for about 10 miles, passing every store you can think of including the old favourites such as Walmart and you come to some traffic lights, showing 'Oatman' to the left and the 'Avi'casino/spa resort to the right. For the experience of a lifetime, turn left. Travel this long and straight road for a distance of around 16 miles and you will arrive in Hill Billy heaven. Oatman, Arizona is...

Phoenix hotel, Copenhagen

Advantages: 4 star luxary, excellent breakfest, cheap deals if booked early
Disadvantages: smallish sized room

...So here we are traveling the globe and the Scandinavian is without doubt the most expensive for hostels and we were really struggling to find a hostel in central Copenhagen until my girlfriend stumbled upon this excellent hotel which worked out to be only a couple of pounds more expensive then the hostels in the area - but this one has of course a four star luxury status! The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and of course a local metro stop which connects directly to the local airport. We made the short journey and located the street that the hostel was on easily. The hotel stood out on this quiet street as we arrived at 9pm and there was no one walking the streets and only one building as lit up - this was the phoenix. Phoenix Wright - Ace Game!

Advantages: Interesting storylines, addictive, nice graphics, interesting characters
Disadvantages: Some parts can be difficult to get past, to start with its a bit too easy

...I bought this game recently after having got the impression that it was a 'must have' game for the DS. I have to say, Nintendo are particularly good at coming up with original games and this game does work pretty well on the DS platform. Being a bit of a crime show fan and having seen plenty of court room footage/drama shows on TV (Law & Order and so on) also made me keen on this game, as its all about guiding a rookie lawyer by the name of, you guessed it, Phoenix Wright, through a number of cases, in order to make him, again you guessed it!, an ace attorney (somewhat cheesy I know!). This game, which in a way could be seen as being more like an interactive TV show or movie than a game in the traditional sense, uses the Nintendo DS touch screen technology. ...The second instalment of Phoenix Wright?s adventures, ?Justice For All?, takes place roughly a year after where the first game left off. Phoenix is still working at his law firm with his assistant Maya Fey, the sister of his former boss, Mia, and still managing to scrape those Not Guilty verdicts by the skin of his teeth. As the player you guide Phoenix through the game with a simple point and click method using the DS touch screen and stylus. The top screen is reserved for the individual chatter and the various basic animations of the characters. Throughout the game Phoenix will work on four different murder cases, each of which involving a somewhat elaborate method of killing the victim. As Phoenix, you gather information and evidence to then later use in court when defending your client. Justice For All is a terribly disappointing...

Disadvantages: Commentary is a bit repetitive

...My primary reason for reviewing this DVD - oddly enough - isn't to do with the outstanding series, Phoenix Nights. Naturally, it would be impossible to review the DVD had the series not been made, but there is something else I want to praise. I've mentioned in other DVD reviews that the one advantage of this format over video is that producers can add all kinds of special effects. When the menu first appears, you hear Brian's voice squawking, "Jerry, I can smell smoke!" - I suppose this could get a little irritating if you listened to it too long, but there is so much to choose from. Where do you start? The navigation through the episodes is excellent - first you pick the episode then it is effortless to watch whichever one from . . . well, whichever chapter point you want, really - but if you go back to the main menu, there are...
