...As this was my first camera, I had nothing really to compare it to. But, my transition from 'camera virgin' was very smooth thanks to the easy use and idiot proof functions on this camera. If your a complete beginner (like I was) then just point and shoot - you will usually get an outstanding quality picture. The more advanced I became (steady on!) the more I would try things. I gave the camera to my wife when she had a ladies night out and she found it incredibly easy to use and came back with some embarassing videos of her in the karaoke bar! The only draw back I found was when using the flash combined with the zoom function - photos still came out a little dark. A word of warning, I would make sure you get at least 1GB of memory because you will be inspired to take hundreds of photos. I loved this camera so much I upgraded... Read review

...This is an easy to use 5 mega pixel digital camera . It has a 4x digital zoom and a large (2.5") monitor. Although it does not have an optical veiw finder. It has six white balance settings (Auto, sunny, cloudy, tungdten bulb and two fluorescent settings) self timer (10, 15, 20 sec option) The camera can be connected to you PC or laptop via a USB (included) and can also be connected to your TV via the 'video in' soccets. The focal range of the camera is 8.25 mm with an aperture of 3.0 The draw backs are that it requires two AAA size batteries and not one of the rechargeable lithium batteries many digital cameras have, also there is no cover for the lens unlike other modles where the lens goes into the camera body when switched off hence it is more vounerable to being scratched. ...with the current RAZR phones 176x220 resolution. The display is bright and clear, as with all motorola mobiles. The K1 boasts a 2 megapixel camera that takes photo's of the quality you would expect. The K1 also has Bluetooth 2.0 support with A2DP stereo profile support. Motorola's Screen 3 standby screen is one of the more impressive feautures. Screen 3 allows for information to be automatically downloaded and displayed on the standby screen of the phone. I use this for sports information, you can use it for news, information, alerts ect.. The music player is a favourite function of mine. I currently have 25 mp3's stored on the phone. The sound quality on stand alone is decent enough to use without headphones. Through headphones it is better than my ipod... I have no idea why! ...Having killed my last iron (I managed to melt a fleece onto the soleplate!), it was time for an upgrade. My previous iron was also a Rowenta, a model down from this one. I had always been happy with the brand, so I decided to go for the DM825. My decision was helped by a recommendation by Which Extra in their best buy guide. The DM825 Professional Luxe Steam Iron (to use its full name), is a very good all round iron. It looks modern and attractive (I've had it about 5 months now and it still looks brand new). It's not too heavy and glides really well, which is a definite advantage as I now get the ironing finished much quicker than before, and I can honestly say the results are very good. ...A nail varnish that dries in sixty seconds? Surely this is every girls fantasy? I always have my doubts when products claim to achieve the impossible... In my experience, nail varnishes take a LONG time to dry. I've applied polish in the evening, gone to bed, and it is still smudge-able the next morning. As I'm sure many of you will agree, if you know a nail varnish is gonna put your hands out of action for a sizeable period of time, you don't bother wearing it. The Rimmel 60 Seconds Extreme Nail Polish comes in a good range of colours. I have in front of me colour 825: 'Potion'. The number 825 suggests that there are at least 825 colours, but I find this hard to believe. Remember the "yes yesss YESSSSSSSSSSSSS, COME ON", excessive whooping, walking the walk talking the talk, cheeky grinning Yank? Of course you do! At the ripe ol' age of 37, this near vet has just won a competition in California with a leap of 8.06m. Not bad from a five year break. Furthermore the man with the alarmingly bouncy walk and 70s tightness shorts recons he can break the 8.25 Edmonton World Champs qualifying mark! Can he? Who knows?
