Review of Sandisk Photo Album - Digital AV player

Forget-Me-Not Photo Album - fab but slightly flawed

Advantages: Easy to record mesages, fascinating to play with
Disadvantages: Not terribly robust, bit plasticky

...Our son was given this Forget-Me-Not photo album by a friend of ours whose taste in presents for him is absolutely spot-on, so we knew straight away that he?d like it! He got it for his first birthday, and although it?s allegedly suitable for babies from 6 months onwards, I think 12 months onwards is probably the age when children would get more out of it. The album takes 8 photos, approximately 6 ins wide by 8 ins tall, but the apertures don't have completely straight sides, so some photos work better than others. 6 photos go in double-sided pages, with 1 each more at the very front and back of the album. The instructions suggest fiddling around with a screwdriver to get the plastic sleeves out, but you can get at them out by just firmly holding them between thumb and forefinger and easing them out. Digital Photo Printing at Boots

Advantages: Quick and Easy Self Service - Quality - Professional
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest

...I have a digital camera, and keep my photos on my computer's hard-drive, but occasionally I like to get better and more interesting pictures printed, it just seems so much more natural to hold a real photo than look at it on the screen, plus it's better for showing them to people when a computer or TV isn't available, or giving photos to people who don't have a computer or DVD player. I recently therefore took a batch of my digital photos to Boots to get them printed. Boots now have self service machines for digital photos, which allow either instant, 1 hour or 24 hour printing from various sources. This can be a memory card, a photo CD, or Infra-Red direct from a compatible phone or camera. A Ballad Album

...Westlife bought out this album of love songs in 2006. The cover of the CD is black and has a picture of the 4 boys sitting on and around a brown chair and one of them holding a rose. The title is to the side of the picture in gold and silver lettering. The back cover of the album is also black and has a rectangle outlined in gold with the track list in and the CD info at the bottom right hand corner. THE SONGS 1 - The Rose - The run time for this song is 3.40. The song was published by Warner Chappell. This is a typical song which you would expect to hear Westlife singing, it is a typical ballad and it really suits their voices. 2 - Total Eclipse Of The Heart - The run time is 4.39. The song was published by EMI Virgin Music Limited. I remember the Bonnie Tyler version of this song and I do much prefer it to the boys version...

Developing your photos at Tesco

Advantages: Quick and Easy
Disadvantages: Can be more expensive and you cannot pay by cash at these machines

...I have found this service quite handy as now having a digital camera i tend to forget to develop my photos, which is a shame, and trying to hand your memory card over for someone to pick out the ones you want to develp can be quite stressful, which is why i use the self service photo developing. I have found it quite an easy self explanatory experience, you insert your memory card and follow the on-line instructions, you can either have the normal 4x6 prints, the option to select all photos or certain ones, you also have the option to re-size your photos as well. When selecting your photos it tells you how much it is costing you on the screen, so no nasty suprises at the end! You then simply pay for the selected photos by card at the machine and then your photos are printed while you wait, which i think is quite quick. The only down...

A must have for all little boys and girls

...I brought the Tomy Forget-Me-Not Photo Album for my daughter as a christmas present when she was 20 months. It cost me £19.99 from Argos. I haven't seen anywhere that does them much cheaper than this, they are all around the twenty pound mark. It's packaged in a nice big colourful box and has an open front so you can test it out. The photo album requires 2 x AAA batteries which are included. The idea of the Tomy photo album is that you put photos of your babies loved ones in and they can record a message for him or her. As far as I know the Tomy photo album is the first of its kind for babies so it makes for a really unique, personal and special gift. I put photos and messages in my daughters photo album and wrapped it up. She couldn't believe her eyes when she opened it - all her favoruite people in one book! and they were...

...Compilations, I don't know whether to love 'em or hate 'em. The advent of CD meant that you could fit between seventy and eighty minutes on a disk. The dramatic uptake of CD and subsequent reduction in CD production costs mean that you can put out a normal album for a reasonable cost. By the time that compilation licensing comes round you can make an album for next to nothing, so they tend to start at around 14.99 GBP even in HMV and Our Price and then appear in the sales for around 9.99 GBP about a month or two later. So why do I love them? Well you can get a lot of decent tracks, for little outlay.
