...background to Vanguard until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing Camera bags, Binoculars, Tripods and Cases for guns to name a few products. The companies customers include major Camera manufacturers. vanguard Camera Case for a Camera case it is a low priced entry level Camera Case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a Camera inside the Pouch. The Camera Case is black coloured throughout. The Case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the Pouch. Also the material is polyester and I suppose that it is good that it is not made from leather as the leather in the summer weather reacts to the heat. Canon DCC-90 soft case... A FRAUD!

Advantages: Nice looking, lightweight, has belt loop too
Disadvantages: Canon S5 doesn't fit at all, no extra pockets and too expensive

... Canon DCC-90 Soft Case - my review Canon DCC-90 is the official soft case for the Canon camera models S2, S3 and S5. There isn't really too much to say about this soft case but I'll do my best. I own a Canon digital camera S5 IS and since the size of this camera is quite weird (not as big as Reflex cameras but neither small enough to fit in common camera cases) I found very hard to find a proper case for it. What stopped me from buying the original case by Canon was it's price. As a matter of fact the cost is £14.55 at the lowest (on amazon.co.uk) while generally can be purchased around £17-25 everywhere else. Also I could hardly find any picture of it online and they are impossible to find in shops so I didn't really fancied spending such an amount of money for something I couldn't even see properly. Excellent Case for Compatible Cameras

Advantages: Designed specially for the range, durable and has every carrying option
Disadvantages: Not for non-compatible cameras

...I bought a Canon PowerShot A560 Camera and, as one was not supplied, I needed a case to protect it when I am carrying it around. I checked the Canon website and found a chart showing that the DCC-80 soft case was the one recommended for my camera. I found the DCC-80 case listed on Amazon.com for £10.99. However, on the Amazon site, it was listed as being compatible with the A710 IS, AS700, A540, A530, A520 and A510... the A560 was not listed! However, the listing on the Canon site (in the downloadable brochure), along with the fact that I know that the A550 is the same size as the A560, made me press ahead and buy the case. ...the advantage of having space for other photography/non-photography essentials/non-essentials. In front of the main pouch is, well, a front pouch. This is clearly designed for batteries and memory cards. It is divided into two compartments and can easily hold four batteries and two cased memory cards, as seen on all the advertising photos, though with a bit of cramming (and if you don't mind a huge bulge) you can fit eight batteries in there. This pocked zips up and is finally sealed by the main flap, coming over the top of the main and front pouches to secure everything securely (for want of a better adjverb). Carry-ability. ...This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most products of this type, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It's a great device with plenty of features that I would highly recommend. This really is a wonderful piece of kit that should go well with many accessories because it really looks good. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore would recommend the product. This case was bought in Curry's for £20 Overall I would recommend this case if you want to keep your camera clean and scratch free....

...I bought this underwater case for my Cannon Ixus 400 (which i have also reviewed) from Camerasunderwater.com for £140 including postage in 2004 to be used to take photos of my son while he was learning to swim as my wife thought it would be cheaper to take our own photos rather than pay for the courses own ones. The housing came with an instrution manual, neck strap (never used it) a wrist strap, spare "O" ring seal and some grease. The case is made out of clear plastic, and a glass lens which is screwed to the case and neoprine rubber which is on the inside of the case where the cameras zoom lens fits into, there is also an opaque plastic just over the lens infront of where the flash is on the camera itself which is used to defuse the flash underwater at nighttime.
