Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0

...Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 aims to be everything the photographer wants for tweaking and fixing their images. Whilst the professionals prefer its more expensive big brother Photoshop CS, Photoshop Elements isn't to be sniffed at and offers 80% of the power for 10% of the price whilst making many tasks much easier. The biggest surprise coming from version 3 is that the file browser has gone. Adobe, what are you thinking? Well, it's clear what they're thinking, they want you to use the Photoshop Album interface which merged in to Photoshop Elements with version 3. Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Orvis

Advantages: Looks the business. People get out of your way ! Engine is very athletic ;-)
Disadvantages: Put your foot down and you see the petrol gauge drop !!!

...I recently bought a bargain Cherokee Orvis from e-bay at a very realistic price, bearing in mind the number plate is worth £1,000 !!! The Cherokee I bought was a 4.0 litre Orvis model imported from America 1n 1994, so yes, it is left hand drive and is auto (which I love). The previous owner wanted something even bigger (!) as he and his friends are regular surfers, they needed the board space. It appears to be a real head turner and people do give way to you ALWAYS when driving it, the Orvis has the gold wheels to which people seem to like. It handles well, is very comfortable and is very easy and nice to drive with a lively engine. I do get a lot of looks if I am in the Jeep on my own as it is left hand drive, but I do not have any problems with overtaking and parking etc, the Jeep in high enough to see over most things and spends...

My Photoshop is Welsh?

Advantages: Fairly easy to use, and has all the features your likely to need for photo editing. Included tutorials. Technical Support.
Disadvantages: It doesn't always work first time! It isn't wildly fast unless you have a very powerful PC. Closing and saving files is a bit torturous.

...My anticipation was high as I loaded the Adobe Photoshop Elements software. After all, all the reviews had been good, and previous Photoshop software worked like a dream. However, my dreams came crashing down when I tried to run the edit option. I waited... and waited... but my system was stuck fast. The screen was frozen, and according to Task Manager, the software was not responding but was using up all my CPU! I tried everything to fix the problem, including reloading Photoshop, removing anything remotely resembling 'photo software', reinstalling Norton, updating windows XP, resetting my screen refresh rate, and reducing my hardware graphics accelerator. Then after a month of bemoaning this waste of money, I called Adobe....... A very helpful tech support person, talked me through some checks, and then asked something...

Advantages: Fast paced action with great cast and special effects.
Disadvantages: Timothy Olyphant is not the typical bad guy like previous Die Hards.

Jeep Cherokee 4.0 HO STD Limited Automatic

Advantages: Powerful, tough as old boots, FUN!
Disadvantages: Load space, fuel consumption

...the end the nicest individual vehicle at a price I could live with was a 1997 Jeep Cherokee. It's a Limited STD Automatic with the 6 cylinder 4.0 litre High Output engine. It's A1 mechanically and the interior is spotless black leather with electric seats, electric windows, air conditioning, remote central locking, factory-fitted alarm, cruise control and a decent stereo. On the road it behaves very well, the relatively high driving position giving excellent visibility, though unlike the Land Rover Discovery it's not so high as to render some multi-storey car parks no-go areas. The standard Goodyear tyres are quieter on the road than the rather more agressive treads found on some competitors. Amazing Photo Editing Program (Adobe Photoshop CS4)

Advantages: Massive amount of features, endless ways to manipulate pictures
Disadvantages: Takes a while to learn how to use it

...Having recently reviewed Quark on here I thought I should also give a review on Photoshop as it is another program that I use on a daily basis. Photoshop is a photo editing program which again as with quark I started when I was 17 (long time ago now) and at college studying Graphic Design, being young and having never used the program before I thought it was amazing, I didn't realize that there where programs out there that could do so much to pictures. How times have changed, this program has been re-released several times since I first started using it and it has come on in leaps and bounds, it is now an even more amazing program which is packed full of features, you can pretty much do anything you like to a picture, it certainly makes me think twice when I see a picture in a newspaper or magazine, you never know what could have been...

...I'd recently bought a new digital camera and was taking lots of pictures so wanted an easy to use package that would catalog my files and also let me edit them, so I purchased Adobe Photshop Elements 4.0. Instruction / Help Elements did not come with any printed manuals only a cd, which contained installation instructions, e-books, websites and tools. The help system was very good, similar to Microsoft's MSDN, it's very thorough. Installation The installation was very easy, I just inserted the CD and followed the prompts. Installation took approx. 5 minutes. Performance The program itself takes a little while to start, but once it's started all operations seem reasonably quick on my Dell Laptop. Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Mk1

Advantages: 4 wheel drive and plenty of torque
Disadvantages: Fuel cosumption and lack of availability of spares

...I moved to the country from town and the Merc was just not suitable for the muddy lanes, pot holes and cow poo! So I got the Jeep. I hate the underpower of diesel and thought the 2.5L petrol in a 4x4 may not be powerful enough to pull my caravan, so it had to be the 4.0L. I was expecting the fuel consumption of 14mpg, so I got a LPG converted one, which halves the cost, equivalent of over 30mpg. The only problem with this, is the frequency in which it needs filling. At 14mpg and 60 litre tank, it doesn't go far. So I have to plan journeys around LPG filling stations, which are few and far between where I live. The Jeep itself, is fairly comfortable, pulls like a train (loads of torque) handles reasonably well for a 4x4. Not bad equipment level for an American car. The bigest problem is the availability of spares for this thing...
