Getting Physio(ical) In The Shower With Scampi!

Advantages: Leaves skin feeling clean and invigorated.
Disadvantages: Price and a little drying on the skin.

...Following a few recent rather cruel and barbed jibes from Mrs Scampi about my waistline - "You fat git" and "When's the baby due?" being two examples, I decided to do something about it. Plea's that my waist measurement is the same as it was when we married twelve years ago fell on deaf ears. So I decided on a course of exercise which included a visit to the gym and some swimming. Doubting whether my normal shower gel (supermarket own label), would be up to the job for the post exercise shower and not wanting to become a social pariah, through smelling so bad that even rats would run the other way, I invested in a bottle of Physio Sport Shower gel, which describes itself as 'pure energy'. A 250ml bottle cost me £2.70 from the local branch of Boots, although no doubt it can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. Additional comment 12...

Physio Sport Antipersperant

Advantages: An antipersperant that actually works!
Disadvantages: Cost

...Anyone out there who exercises regularly will now that most antipersperants will let you down when doing any serious exercise. However this is not the case with physio sport, it keeps you dry throughout the toughest of work outs and even has a nice smell! The most important thing is that i have quite sensitive skin and neither the roll on or spray form of this deoderant cause any irratation to my skin. Don't you just love the smell of sweat

Advantages: cheap, isn't sticky, does the job

...You’ve got 2 choices in this world, have smelly pits or use deodorant. I tend to favour the 2nd choice. The first though, some others seem to favour. It’s alright for them, they can’t smell the stench coming from their underarms, it’s the people around them that have to deal with that unique smell of underarm sweatiness! You could probably last a whole day without any deodorant if your not up to much that day, but risk 2 days and your pushing the boundaries of musty armpits turning really smelly and enough to make your dog become extremely interested in you. The Shower Gel of Olympic Proportions

...I first spotted Physio Sport shower gel a few weeks ago in Superdrug. As a frequent user of Physio Sport deodorant roll-ons, I thought this would be worth a try, so popped it in the basket. As the picture above shows, it comes in a trendy-looking, plastic container. The vibrant colours on the front immediately catch your attention. The one I bought, 'Vital Instinct', has hints of aqua marine, light green, red and yellow, which all lure you into buying it. I particularly like the twisty top, which lets you squeeze out the gel and close when you're finished. It not only looks good but also ensures there is no unnecessary discharge of gel, which you sometimes get with conventional 'flip' lids. Advantages: Smells really nice, easy to use and quick. Keeps skin good.
Disadvantages: Fairly pricey, doesn't have a shower hanger.

...PHYSIO SPORT SMELL:- = Physio Sport hydrate is suitable for men, but my husband and I use it both. Not at the same time though! To me the smell is neutral so works equally well and won't have a man smelling like a woman or a woman smelling like a man and even if it does smell a bit more masculine than some then you can always put perfume on afterwards and you will smell fine. Does the product stink, even if you dont

...I bought my little bottle of physio sport for one reason. It was small, I was going to the gym and needed something that would easily fit into my pocket for when I had finished. It cost me less than £5 ( I can't remember the exact amount because it was easily over 6 months ago ) and I didn't expect it to last that long. I was wrong, my bottle still has over half of its original contents left and that is after regular use. The design follows the standard roller ball applicator and has the screw on top. When you put the actual anti-perspirant on there is no stinging ( just as it says on the bottle ) and the liquid itself dries by evapouration meaning it leaves you feeling cool ( ideal for after a work out ). Unlike most anti-perspirants this doesn't leave a horrible white mess, after it has been put on, that can stain clothing...

I hadn’t used it for 5 years, when it was new out, but I remembered at the time it was really good and totally kept me sweat free. At the time it was known only as a deodorant spray, but I use it as an anti-persperant, and it is one of the best I’ve had in a long while. I had two of the brilliant sprays, and put them straight onto my dressing table. I was overjoyed. If I have anything new, I tend to keep them at the front, like they’re my favourite of all favourites!
