Which Pic n' Mix?

Advantages: Lots of choice,have as much as you like.
Disadvantages: Only have what's on offer, can be expensive, very addictive and therefore fattening.

...Ok, Ciao, you were a little unspecific in this catagory-there's thousands of different types of pic n'mix and they all vary! Ok,for those of you acquainted with pic n' mix and how it works skip the rest of this paragraph( Is there anyone?) If not, read on. Ok, Pic n' mix is where a shop/ cinema/ weird old man on street cornerDONT BUY!, has a whole load of varying sweets such as little chocs, to gummy sweets, to lollypops, mints etc..on display in either jars or big troughs. The idea is, you normally get a bag( supplied) and fill it with all the different sweets, mints etc.. that you want. The cashier will then weigh it and most places then charge you per 100g and it can be really expensive. I am a bit of pic n' mix freak, I have to admit. ...Have you ever been in a situation when you are in the mood for something sweet, but you're unsure what exactly? It's so much torture, trying to choose between such a wide variety of nibbles! But never fear, there's always the magic of the pic 'n' mix! ***** Before I start raving about how glorious the pic 'n' mix is, I feel I should get the negatives out of the way. I feel there is only one minor problem with these - location. Unfortunately, you cannot venture to your local corner shop and bag a 'mix! They tend to be found in shopping centres, or entertainment places ie cinemas, bowling. And as much as I'd like to, I'm not going to make my way to one of these more distant locations, just to fill myself up with sugar! Great value, great pics

...I bought this camera 2 weeks ago as i was due to go on holiday and my last one had broken. I brought the pink one in asda for £59 and it has been worth every penny. The camera is 8.2 Mega pixels which gives great quality pictures, and should be more than adequate for most people who want to take pics of special occassions. The camera is fairly small and lightweight, and for the price fairly stylish. However what really impressed me about this camera was it's ease of use - although the camera gives photo quality that is good enough for more experienced photographers it is also simple enough for beginners. The software included with the camera is easy to install and allows you to file and archieve your photo's easily, as well as giving the option of setting up an online photo album. The camera itself is also very simple to use...

Mix Up, Look Sharp

Advantages: Can buy as much as you want, free to choose what goes in.

...Where to start? The Pic 'n' Mix is undoubtedly my favourite selection of sweets. I can usually be found, on my weekly shopping trip to Asda, making a stop at the pic 'n' mix counter looking remarkably out of place between all the kids. There's just so much choice and every sweet on offer is delicious in it's own way. Of course, where you buy your pic 'n' mix can affect both the quality and price of the sweets. I've found that cinemas tend to charge scandolous prices for what are often poor imitations of the infamous Bassetts and Barratts originals, and the current surge for retro internet sweet shops are little better as far as value for money is concerned. The best places to buy are usually the major Supermarket chains, Woolworths or your local market. Prices at these places can vary, but between 60p and 80p for 100g is pretty average...

stunning pics

Advantages: good pictures even in low light and zoomed, easy to use, small, antiblur,

...I love this camera. I have been through 2 olympus digicams and liked the results but when it came to an upgrade decided on something using the cheaper SD card rather than the xD. I was being advised to go for the rather pricey panasonic lumix but i am glad i got kodak. I needed a zoom cam for my safari holiday with antiblur and video with sound and also face detection. The z885 ticks all those boxes except the face detection but ultimately its all about results and the pics are stunning even in low light and at the max limit of 5x optical zoom. It is smaller and lighter than i thought, installed quickly and automatically on my windows XP and download was quick. Major plus is: sooo easy to use did not have to read manual. Bad is: though LCD is wide resolution is crap so you think pics will come out dodgy but wow such good pics...
