Advantages: Regular change of picture, Plays audio and video
Disadvantages: Style may not be to everyones taste

...I have mixed feelings about digital photo frames. My mum bought this Kodak Digital Photo Frame as part of a gift for her Partner as he is in to his gadgets etc and this was new out at the time. However, on first impressions I thought it looked quite odd and maybe a little tacky. However, my opinion has slightly changed. I think the advantage of having a digital photo frame such as this one made by Kodak is that you can regularly change the picture you are viewing. This is ideal if you have a special occasion or fancy a change. One day you could have a picture of your Gran and the next a picture of you and your partner. ...Picture Pairs is a classic game that I used to love playing with my brother when I was a child, but it wasn't until very recently that I started to play the game with Harry. We were staying with my parents for a little while, and my mum decided to get Harry some games to play with her. I wasn't sure what was suitable for his age (3.5 years), but she picked up this game, Picture Pairs, and Animal Snap. We got them home and Harry was eager to get stuck in, and so were we actually, and would you believe it's now his favourite game we have to play at least once a day! I have encountered a lot of picture dictionaries in my time, and even as a child I can recall being disappointed with the low quality. Many seemed to be geared towards toddlers, a sort of "what is this" point and see the word in English sort of mentality. I find English only picture dictionaries a bit suspect, therefore, but with two children aged 6 and 8 learning Japanese, I thought perhaps a bilingual picture dictionary might aid in their vocabulary acquisition. As it was, it seemed that every five seconds I was being asked, "What is this in Japanese?" (Actually, my eldest points at something and asks, "Nani (what [is this])?" Perfect Pictures!

Advantages: Excellent Quality
Disadvantages: Quite Expensive

...couldn't see what the picture was. I won't be using cheap paper with this printer again as the paper that comes in the Picturepack produces excellent quality, so the paper obviously has a lot to do with it as well as the printer and ink. The first few Picturepack's I got, came with an extra pack of paper (25 sheets I think) and a photo album - the photo album was just cheap but seeing as it was free I suppose that might be expected. I tried putting photos in it but they just got creased so I didn't bother using it. The ink cartridge comes sealed in think blue plastic inside a box. This is quite difficult to open. There are instructions on the cartridge for installation. The cartridge is easily inserted into the back of the printer. Sony has only recently started producing these frames but as with everything Sony, they like to enter the market with something bigger and better than what is already around and they have done it with these frames. ...We delt with this company last year and have had no complaints with them at all.....until now but it's only a small one. Picture are just like the advert on the tv - very nice, friendly, chatty about everything under the sun. We chose them because they can offer up to 125% of your house value and their valuation is done online - not by sending someone out to do a drive by valuation and charge you for it like some companies. I spoke to my account manager a few times by telephone. I found him very helpful, non-judgmental and very friendly. I told him what i had been quoted from other companies and told him what i was looking for and he seemed happy to offer me just that.
